  • The city councilors in Deadmonton can't see past the diesel smoke to have trolleys.

  • I thought you Canadians were so much more progressive than Americans. I guess not. Goodbye Edmonton, you had so much going for you...

  • LOL at 2:14 did that trolley drove around the other one? I saw it happen once one Jasper ave and 101St Westbound. The 5 drove around the 120 then both lost their poles, even the 120 which was parking poles came off. I did not get a picture of it but I should have. What's really funny is when the driver of the 5 got out to put the poles back on, She didn't know what caused her poles to dewire and she was the one who drove around the other one.

  • What happened there was a trolley ahead of them had a pole lodge in the wires, blocking the other trolleys. 143 had put its poles down, allowing 193 to pass, and 143 put its poles back up just after 193 went by. 193 then followed the route 3, while 143 cut across 107 Ave to Jasper Place to get back on time.

  • The one other thing I notice with the diesels is they can put out a lot of heat on top of the diesel fumes.

  • The Edmonton vote combines misinformation (feturing lack of knowledge, prejudice and personal agandas) convincing councillors to vote for a proposal which is environmentally, and financially disastrous. Edmonton citizens - These people are about to inject more poisonous fumes into the lungs of you and your children, make you more dependent than ever on rapidly depleting oil, destroy expensive city assets and cost you millions of dollars in the future. Act now to prevent this corporate vandalism.
