I hope you know that this isn't a one time BUD switch. You need to leave the redstone and the redstone torch. When the torch is on the BUD switch can extract, and when it is off it can retract. In some ways it is like a memory BUD switch.

Been done. Only one use though, and resetting makes it pretty big.
