I agree with #1 the rest were just punch/kick matches. There really weren't any good pure wrestlers on the roster then, maybe Owen but he wasn't used much. Lol at those pics of HHH before he got on the gas.
During these years they never really had any great matches on Raw, you could expect at least half decent matches at PPVs; but an average Raw main event in 1999 would be about 6 minutes long with screw jobs, run-ins and DQ finishes being the norm. This ranking tends to reflect that.
#10 you say Shane deserves a spot in the HoF, that's cool because he does 100%. But I'm not being rude or anything but what about the late Test? He defiantly deserves a spot in the Hall of Fame since he passed-away. If he was still alive then I'd say "not really, no HoF spot" but he is sadly gone & other late's like Bulldog, Crash Holly, Umaga & tones more should go in.
AUSTIN VS TAKER 1ST BLOOD @ Fully Loaded was an awsome match forgot about that match till now, i know i have it on vhs somewhere, i remeber Taker bleeding rolling his eyes into the back of his head at the end of the match looking BAD-ASS
Great List! 99' Had Rock, Austin, Taker, Mankind and Trips all over it but those Damn Hardys and E&C blew the house down at a very forgettable No Mercy PPV.
I notice this list is mainly of PPV matches, that's cool but for some strange reason in 99 I remember the TV matches better & WWF was still giving out PPV quality matches on free-TV as it was still competing against WCW. There's a lot of hidden gems in 99, free-TV stuff was obviously awesome hence why 99 got the highest TV ratings especially The Road to WM & Summer with the Corporation, Corporate Ministry, Union etc (faction wars) Smackdown debuting etc I liked Smackdown better than Raw in 99.
@ThePacmanClassic Sorry I meant I liked Smackdown better than Raw in 00, my bad >_<. I guess it was cause Smackdown was new at the time & fresh so they saved the best stuff in the week for Smackdown. The way I see it I guess.
Summer 99 was gold & HOT Summer of 98 is the #1 Summer of all time hence why I'm looking forward to your 98 video. It was a "Hell Yeah Summer" 98 sure was Austin's year. Was the craziest year ever when I was a kid watching WWF. How the mighty WWE has fallen since then.
Cool gov, sick list! 99 was the #1yr in WWF/E history cause it was the height of the Attitude Era, well that's how I see it. Now yes 99 had had car crash TV still (WWF car crash TV dyed down a lot in 00, I think it was cause Russo left & they focused on the wrestling more & hired more technical talent) & bad stuff like Owen dying, storyline flaws & I know it was a "storyline driven year" but despite their being storyline flaws it was still the best year. Well that's just how I see it.

Great list ! but I think that you forgot to put Rock/Taker at KOTR 99 , one of the best Championship matches of year 99

This must have been a tough list. Match quality in 99 was genreally crap so you were making the best of a bad year

Again, great touch with using The Rock's music in this! I really love the idea of using someone's music who really broke out for whatever year it is!
