Shot 299 at my friend's memorial bowling event

im a bit confused if you bowl a (9 count) any where in the game unless you its you second ball it counts as a strike so idk how you could bowl a 299? and it said you had the first nine but show you striking on the ten ball?

@mooseakarandle the event was 9 pin no tap. I had 11 natural strikes, the 6 pin on the score board was scored as a strike becasue of the 9 pin no tap scoring.

Best I have done so far in bowling for a 300 is the first 8 strikes... On the 9th my arms were shaking and my legs a little wobbly lol. I ended up opening in the 9th and 10th. Hopefully I can get comfortable about being in the situation.

Take deep breaths. That used to happen to me lol then i just relaxed and took deep breaths. I guarantee if you do this that it will help!

I hope I can be in your situation with all strikes going into the last ball. I'm 15 avg. 170 with only 227 high game though.

Thanks! It was an actual 299 game, had 11 real strikes.  It was a fun night.

nice, hope i can do that one day my highest now is a 203 and im 13, my average is 133 and i bowl in JBT events in Arizona

203 at 13 is something to be proud of, i didnt bowl my first 200 till i was 15, but then oddly enuff, i bowled a 299 four months later, when i averaged 140 O.o

hey i remember when i posted that comment before....well thanks, and just to update you, im now 14 and my average is a 169 and my high game is a 274 :D

looked good though. The 12th one always feels like it weighs about 30 pounds, don't it? Then if you try to make an adjustment, knowing you're going to be a little tight, it's a whole lot easier to toss that sucker right out the window........I've been on both sides. 300 and 295. :) I didn't even hit the headpin on the 295.
