He was the UK equipment manager for nearly 70 years who died in April 2008. He was always known as being a great friend to the coaches and players even with the age difference.
I had to break a tear when I saw him and Bradley. Bradley was just a great kid and crazy kid. Seein him and good ole Keightley was hard to hold back. God bless you Keightley. We as the BIG BLUE NATION, LOVE YOU DEARLY!!!
I had the joy of meeting Mr. Keightely several times as I usher the Football & Basketball games, always the same, he treated everyone the same. He loved the waitresses at Merrick Inn, and they loved him.
