Why do they have to use a Disney character from a classic movie? I mean, can they not think of anything else or are they just trying to ruin it?

Pinocchio like so many other characters are actually characters that were not created by Disney. Disney just used them because they could, and just changed them a little bit. So, Pinocchio yes was a movie by Disney, but Disney got it from the book The Adventures of Pinocchio in 1883.

The reason why they could use characters is because under a clause that if the character is so old, you can use them without paying rights to anyone.

This movie was a piece of art, it scared me more than CP, I love Chucky but the Pinocchio puppet scares the shit outta me with those eyes and rough carved face. It's still unclear as to who murdered those people, I believe Pinocchio was alive but he some howmade Zoe crazy or something. We'll never know for sure and this why this film is cool.

It's scary, but I wouldn't reccomend seeing it. It isn't what you'd think and the CGI is really fake (so is the acting; tell me again why it's so hard to act human? Unless you're trying to hide an accent like the main character, it shouldn't be that hard.
