RIP Mr.Honeyboy, it was a pleasure to meet you and to see you perform your musical magic of the traditional delta blues, you were trully a rollin' stone.
I was honored to see Honeyboy Edwards live a few years ago, in this tiny blues club. Even got to shake his hand and take a picture with him. One of the best live performances I ever witnessed. And I'll never forget it!! R.I.P LONG LIVE THE BLUES!!!
for a man thats 90 FUCKING 5 YEARS OLD, this is amazing!!!! pardon my french!!!!! i cant believe hes still alive!!!! heres a man that actually knew and played with robert johnson!!!!!! i saw him i a documentery from 1992 and i thought he was old then!!!!! holy fuck!!!! god bless ya honeyboy, keep going!! its been 1 hell of a ride!!!!
I will never forget meeting Honeyboy Edwards in July of 2010 at the Central PA Blues Society picnic and getting him to autography my guitar. One of the best moments of my entire life, hands down!
God bless Honeyboy, I was at Crossroads this year and saw this performance, I also saw him in Toledo in Feb. 2007 , this man can still play the blues in the purest form as it was meant to be played.

When they were singing him Happy Birthday he was just tuning his guitar, thinking, what a bunch of sissies.
And he tapped that blonde.

I love how Honeyboy couldn't give a shit about the birthday celebration stuff, just tuning his guitar and not paying any attention to the sycophants.
