They have similar power actually, it's possible one video used Hotblood/Soul to boost damage of Hyper Beam Saber while this shot of Hyper-Mega Cannon didn't.

Char has lots of dialog when fighting various gundam characters, and others, in and out of battle. Kouji Kabuto from Mazinger Z for example yells at "Lieutenant Quattro" if they fight each other in Mission 38/Hell.
