  • Excelent video. Shows really what drugs can do with everyone, to sufficiently idiot to cross its path.

It doesn't matter if you are a rockroll star or a simple unkown. Drugs will get you hard.

And it will does the same with people who loves you.

I don't understand why it is a disguting explotation. This is real.Keit deserves it and everyone who makes drugs a way of life.Doesnt matter who you are.

  • @kyxyzy that's definatly one opinion. altho keith richards definatly got more out of life in the first 20 years on earth than most will in their entire existence and hes still living great

only difference is: government propaganda hadnt made any drugs into such a negative thing like it has today. the substances back in the 60s, 70s, and 80s were alot less dangerous because they were pure. today's 'war on drugs' does nothing but keep the same drugs on the street, only diluted with garbage =/

  • @Jagethemage thank you. the 'drug war'- who benefits? the MAN, the judicial system, the penal system, the 'aftercare services' of probation and parole officers, lawyers, bails bondsmen, rehab inc, ideologues of religion and 'family' values etc. don't forget the beer wine spirits makers, distributors, retailers, bars, clubs, et al.. who benefit when the only legal high is also the most dangerous: alcohol. alcohol lowers inhibitions: when drunk, break a law. now, see law enforcement section again.

  • Pish !

  • Worthless. This man kicked Heroin & Cocaine in the late 70's.......

  • I'm so sorry...he just freaking hot...and, that's all there is to say about it...hee

  • thats heroin nice combination shoot some dope smoking a joint perfect high

  • ..............................

  • great video, it made it even better with keith. fuck all these people who don't like it. this is my first time even hearing this song. i thought it was brilliant! thumbs up

  • yeah, I always thought lou reed was talentless pretentious boring try-hard. and he is. man there is some BAD creations on you boob tube. do please try to put some thought in people? this is a wowfully miss matched terrible thing. please take this down.

  • @dusthaze What difference does it make to you? You get your jollies off telling other people what to do. Why don't you try putting something up on You 'Boob' Tube. You are here to consume, so if you don't contribute, go back to finger painting.

  • This is the most disgusting axplotation I've seen in a lon time. Keith deserves a lot better than this shit!!!

  • fuck anyone who dosen't like this vid...

    I dig it

& this guy has made an artistic move here

ps...in fact, I'd like to see it on a billboard sized screen with the denizens of the city frozen like waxworks so I can hear Lou's pretty music...

    very poignant track too

  • @SandozSaxonWilliams Hey...you stole my comment; it's always refreshing to find others w/ taste. The song & b/w vid of keef is art. Thank you for it. I think the haters are either aesthtically challenged, too pol. cowrecked, or just jonesin' hard & can't find their dealers. Valium would have helped them man!

  • Yea, there was some great music came out of the drug hazed, hippie high days of the 60s and 70s. I was there, and I remember, (some of it); but you know folks, there really is nothing as inspiring to a musician, a writer, a painter, a poet, as a good dose of reality. Some of the best music of the 'here and now', comes from people who got off drugs. What a pity we do not have the ones who failed too. Good that Keith is still here. Glad all of you are too!

  • Heroin (diacetylmorphine) is the most uninspiring & stupid drug there is, but the best to escape from the pain people can do to you....(untill tomorrow, but that's another time)

  • If anyone thinks a Rolling Stone was not into dope in a big way, they were not alive in the late 60s, or early 70s...If they were then maybe they were too stoned to know what was happening!

  • @derryhawk Mick didn't get into it in a big way at all,he dabbled a bit but had his eye on world domination and knew that using would mess that up,Micks' the type of guy who likes to be in control therefore he did minimal drug use

  • love keith and the stones (Y)

  • yo said no heroin for keith hahahaha in 76 or 78 het is been trapt by the police woth 100gr of heroin

  • Actually 77 nice try.

  • fuck you!

  • wtf!!!!!!!! thats keith richard he is no heroine addict crazy fuck

he just like cocaine and alcohol

    whats wrong with that bitch

    no fucking heroine

  • you obviously havent ready the biography of keith richards.....he was a MAJOR heroin addict. he was busted in toronto with so much dope they tried to get him for trafficking. he has some serious track mark scars too. he talks very candidly about it in several interviews. he's actually the most famous heroin addict ever. listen to how he talks in the early interviews, slow, scratchy voice. that's the heroin voice. my mom used to tell me, "u have the voice again" get ur facts straight.

  • You are correct..... feetlover is dumb

  • @toorude369 You are so right about Keith, but I really respect his being so open about it....Sounds like you know what you are talking about too.

  • LOL Keith never took Heroin?!?!?

And you're a Stones fan??? LOL

  • Your wrong...... Keith was a notorious heroin junkie; he was known for always having the best shit around no matter where he was. He was completely strung out for years.

  • please dont glamorize it,after 20yrs you dont get that way anymore

  • Zzzzzzz...

  • WTF is this? a crappy bit of film of one drug addict set to the piece of music my another fucking drug addict!

Get yourself cleaned up jsfmota ( or whatever you name is ).... two bits of bollicks don't make a right!

  • You uploaded a song written and sung by Mr. Reed who was mainlining smack then, but have exploited the image of Mr. Richards, who was just a skin-popper, for your own cheap agenda. Play good music with his image. His music. U tagged it 'art experimental short film.' So, you want a job at a hot boutique ad agency in NYC. Dull unimaginative ads like yours got me off TV. Be a rebel. Same song, but show the WTC burning and falling. That'll get you noticed. It'll be a hit in many countries, too.

  • heres an idea...make you own fucking video

  • you're pretty insecure about your 'art' if you can't take criticism. an 8 word reply says language skills aren't a strong point either. I suggested you go into advertising because you've mastered superficiality and pretentiousness.. but you get hostile. you should be thanking me. Besides, I've got plenty of great images in my head all the time. but I like to hear Mr. Richards songs. Your duplicity wasted my time. Is that what you meant by 'experimental'? If so, it worked.

  • i like the video!

  • @jsfumato Don.t You have any sence of desency?

  • @jsfumato Love it!!

  • Comment removed

  • @dugitomi - Who the hell said Kieth was just a skin-popper>?

  • @dugitomi fuck you. this guy is being experimental. your suggestion would make him just another doucebag wanna-be artist. and with all due respect to the victims of 9/11, that is old news. putting that in the video with this song would make him seem more like a douce. so go fuck yourself :)

  • @dugitomi ....good video...what Keef has to do with I'm not sure.......btw,in the autobiography he says he never mainlined,I thinkhe's being nice to himselthere.Stones the late 60/early70's cannot be beat,. Stopped listening after Tattoo You,but still Keith you were the soundtrack to my youth

  • @dugitomi thank you for layin this comment down man. even if it was two years ago. makes me happy to see there are other people that can distinquish the facts from a steaming pile of government cheese

  • thank God for the drugs and the booze, music would suck big time otherwise

  • hell yea...

  • Well...I don't know anything PERSONALLY about heroin addiction (never having gone there myself, Praise Jah!)...but I do know that I enjoyed looking at the perfectly beautiful visage of Keith Richards for 3:45 minutes!

I am so grateful that HE survived his dance with Morpheus and is still around to grace us with his saintly soul!

    God Bless Keith Richards!!!

  • God bless u -please don't do that -it took me a long time to get off -a shame something from a plant can ruin somebody life-he was to die in 69 then 70's then finly they took him the list

  • Trust me...I won't be touching the stuff.

People criticize Keith for being on smack for ten years...but I like to remind them--the man GOT OFF smack after ten years.

THAT is a HUGE accomplishment that takes some pretty big brass balls to get through!

I find it pretty heroic, myself!

  • @redwoodrebelgirl no it's not really that hard and it's funny that the 10yr span is a common time frame when ppl kick the habit, what happens is you just don't get the stone you got at the beginning and you seem to grow out of it,you just get sick and tired of the same ppl and lifesyle, you know the whole scumbag scene

  • @73mandala I hope it's not as hard as I have heard. I have heard that quitting smoking (cigarettes) is as hard (or harder) than kicking heroine, and I have done that several times (and usually it is AWEFUL! but not as physicallly horrific as I have heard heroine withdrawal to be). I wouldn;t want to wish withdrawal form EITHER of those things on anybody! My hope is that people will find other ways to cope with their pain and stress, and I pray for all those trying to get clean of whatever!

  • @redwoodrebelgirl I've kicked both heroin and smokes, both are hard but smokes is the harder of the 2 by way of it's availability and price and it's addictiveness. I've stopped smoking on a few occasions for varying time frames, 1st 3 months then 6 then a year. Ive used heroin from early 1980s and finally chucked it in completely in the late 90s. Quality and availability had a bit to do with it, it was when the Taliban stopped ppl producing opium and Khun Sah wasn't making Thai #4 anymore.

  • @redwoodrebelgirl The main thing with giving up is you must really want to, if the mind isn't totally sick and tired of using it won't let you give it up. It's a seriously insidious drug, you know how it is, it makes life bearable even when in reality your life is shit. So you will only give up when you're totally prepared in the mind and really want it. There's no half measures or secret over night cures. The truth with addiction is you must want to give up, there's no other way unfortunately

  • @redwoodrebelgirl word i quit heroin 2 years ago and i cant believe i did it has been the best decision i have done in my life and the hardest habit to break i still smoke my joint but it is really heroic to get off heroin most people dont make it they either die using or end up in jail

  • @christian420mafu Congratulations! Itmakes me happy to hear about your strength and your healing! Thank you for sharing--maybe it will be just what someone else needs to hear to be able to get free. Knowing that someone else could do it, and survive, and move on makes even the most intense undertaking seem easier!

  • totally agree...

god, each time i see his angelic face i wanna kill everybody and then kill me and just before kiss him...

Accchh it's quite complicated to be in love with the Keith of the 70's...

    :)

  • YES it is!

When I die, and am freed from the constraints of time and space, the first place I'm gonna go is the '72 tour. The Keith of EVERY time frame is amazing...but there is something so achingly sweet about the Keith of the '70's!

    I simply adore him!

  • keith's mom died 4/21/07 at the age of 91...

  • Ever hear of Lou Reed?

  • wtf this is ridiculous

  • this sucks

  • thank you ,,,can you say why?

  • maybe this can help someone who wants to do drugs like keith did all though he drinks way too much-still alive somethime

  • THIS IS SO RETARDED.

  • keith richards should have been dead 20 years ago the bluddy state he's in

  • actually not really, it dosent matter about the stuff he did like drugs and shit, his mom lived to the age of 91, so that means Keith might live longer than u think! hes still alive now and hes doing better than he ever was, so keep that in mind!

  • no not really it dosent matterhow long his mom lived but he should be dead mean look at the state he is in in the satisfaction video

too much drugs my dad knew a load of famous players cuz he was famous and quite alot of them died before they were 40 for drugs so i think keith is 1 of the luckiest guys inthe world

  • actually it does matter how long his mom lived because if she lived long there is a chance that Keith will live long too! which year is this satisfaction video your talking about? hes crazy in all of them! and why would you say Keith should be dead, lots of people who took drugs are still alive, like Jimmy Page, hes still alive, even though he looks like hes 80 years old, so it dosent matter if you take drugs or not it dosent mean that your gonna die right away from it, some do and some don't!!

  • id say your both right, like yeah he probably has immortal genes like his mum but he is pretty damn lucky and thank rock for both

  • keith's mother is 90 and is alive and well.

  • wrong... she died in april 07 she was 91

  • i hate this song

  • All night longstone....stone....stone.....living stone

  • C mon!!..Keith cant stand Lou Reed.And vice versa.

  • keef

  • heyy i've heared it on transpoitting.....waaaa

  • sucks !!!!

  • Just to clarify to all you youngins the song is Perfect Day By Lou Reed

  • Comment removed

  • he wrote good songs before he even took heroin you ignorant dumbass

  • Whatever you reckon...dumbass LOL...thats fascinating coming from the mouth of someone who calls themself "KIDAmnesiacBends".

Looks like Lou Reed isnt the only crackpot on this page!

  • You ain't got a clue, man!

He's no crackuser and he did not wrote this song.

I think that you know nothing about taking drugs or writing songs and lyrics but I'm convinced that you know shit 'bout talent! Can it be that it's you instead of these beautiful songs that's being a little twisted?

  • Nice idea,badly executed,

    could do better.

  • jsfumato, this is sweet. It's sad, but it's also happy (?!), dunno why. I love that interview clip, Australia 1973. Who can smoke a cigarette so coolly as Keef? Lovely film, poignant song, great star!
