I saw in TV greek teacher said that she dont want get 850 eur. Our teachers in Slovakia get 650 eur in average!!! Why all of us must give 1500 eur to EU?!? It isnt normal.
@freakbro It is true, but we paid the seccond biggest prize for 1 inhabitant. Average wage is in Slovakia 763 eur, in Germany 2951 eur. Yes, sonething is cheaper, but for example cars is in same level. And in finfacts.ie Bratislava is more expensive city than Athens or Berlin...

I have been in Greece three times and I saw that cars is cheaper, benzin and diesel is cheaper, all things in shops (food, drinks...) is as expensive asi in Slovakia and so on. But I also know that ordinary people in Greece have hard life. I think as hard as we in Slovakia. But we paid Greece, and Greece dont paid Slovakia.

@gongisone Well... Greece did actually make some huge mistakes. External observers saw this day coming years ago, and not because Greece is just a random victim but because they did a very bad job in fighting corruption and economic reforms. I'm not saying only Greece is to blame but please take some lessons instead of fingerpoint to the outside world.

@gongisone That is actually false. While the initial crisis was wihthout a shadow of doubt the fault of greedy "financieers", this is a crisis Greece put itself in. By falsifying and hiding their real annual loss, Greece entered the EMU on false pretences. Then Greece continued to loan money to provide the Greek people with a state of living and public services Greece could not provide for without these loans. And why couldn't they do this? Tax evations and pension swindles by the greek people.
He is the worst leader in Greece since the recognized declaration of independence of Greece in 1830. A traitor that governed Greece in it's most difficult times.
First of all, it's a good job that some people also see that the Greek government hasn't done a very good job. Greece has been a tax haven and therefore many Greeks were able to fight poverty easily. However, they did this at the cost of poor people elsewhere in the eurozone! Now the government has to put in some taxes to save Greece from a total burndown, and they feel what it is to give away half of what they earn to taxes, to struggle to stay alive,... What the 99% always have done!
It is sad to see a country with such a rich history suffering like this. Greeks gave the government control of their lives and therefore waste and corruption were the result. Polticians operate without fear of reprisal, because most are dependent on the money those corrupt politicians hand out in exchange for votes. America is going to have the same future.
When politicians in countries around the world are caught cheating against or stealing from their people, they get their hands chopped off, they are tried in court, they are executed or they commit suicide.

So, to your surpise, you are gaining THE INTEREST. yeahhh..Now about the 50% haircut you could be right, but things are not like telegraaf says.The haircut is not in the total amount of debt.the debt to other states is excepted from the haircut.So you lose as a Dutch citizen nothing!

From what they imply but not say, the loan is going to be greater than the haircut, so the debt will increase after the new deal. Dont forget before "your money" the debt was 120% and now it is more than 150% and will increase more..something is not fitting together right?

By falsifying and hiding their real annual loss, Greece entered the EMU on false pretences. Then Greece continued to loan money to provide the Greek people with a state of living and public services Greece could not provide for without these loans. And why couldn't they do this? First of all, it's a good job that some people also see that the Greek government hasn't done a very good job. Greece has been a tax haven and therefore many Greeks were able to fight poverty easily. However, they did this at the cost of poor people elsewhere in the eurozone! Now the government has to put in some taxes to save Greece from a total burndown, and they feel what it is to give away half of what they earn to taxes, to struggle to stay alive,... @Froste4cool δεν συνηθιζω να μιλαω για τετοια θεματα στο Youtube, αλλα εδω εχεις ενα τεραστιο λαθος, ηρθες στην Ελλαδα προερχομενος απο μια χωρα που ηταν σε πολυ χειροτερη κατασταση απο την τωρινη Ελλαδα, Πηγες σχολειο, περιθαλφθηκες σε νοσοκομειο, και κατα μια πολυ γενικη εικονα της Ελλαδας του 2000 οι γονεις σου ειχαν δουλεια, και τωρα που εζησες καλα λες: "δεν μ' αρεσει, θα φυγω..." εισαι ελευθερος να το πραξεις, ομως μην κατακρινεις τους πολιτες για τα λαθη των πολιτικων.....

@petrossyros Τα λάθη είναι τυχαία γεγονότα. Όχι, προσυμφωνημένα, όχι ο κανόνας και η ρουτίνα. Οι πολίτες παρόλλο που ξυπνάνε τώρα, αναγκασμένοι από το παρόν, φυσικά και δεν είναι άμοιροι ευθυνών. Ακόμα και η σιωπή όταν βλέπεις ένα "έγκλημα" γίνετια συνενοχική. Αλλά να ήταν καλά το βόλεμα. Με αυτό εξαγόραζαν την σιωπή. Βολέματα, ρουσφέτια, μονημότητα. Τέλος, καλά θα κάνει αν φύγει όπως και οποιοσδήποτε, όταν τίθεται θέμα επιβίωσης και μπορεί να κατακρίνει τον οποιοδήποτε.

@assiessin ...mainly greek banks and greek insurance funds are affected. That is why we take a new loan to refund the losses of the haircut. From what they imply but not say, the loan is going to be greater than the haircut, so the debt will increase after the new deal. Dont forget before "your money" the debt was 120% and now it is more than 150% and will increase more..something is not fitting together right?

@evdomosEllin συμφωνώ μαζί σου, αλλά καθώς διαπιστώνουμε όλοι μας, το σκηνικό θα εξακολουθήσει να είναι το ίδιο. Ευελπιστώ ότι κάπου εκεί έξω είναι αυτός που περιγράφεις και απλά περιμένει την κατάλληλη στιγμή να δράσει. Αλλά μέχρι και εαν..., θα πορευόμαστε με τα ανδρείκελα...!!!!

@pagouraki35 Δυστυχώς ένα μεγάλο μέρος του πολιτικού κόσμου εξυπηρετεί πια ξένα συμφέροντα, αλλά ο Τζέφρυ και η Ντόρα δεν έχουν μέτρο σύγκρισης νομίζω. Μιλάμε για το αποκορύφωμα του δοσιλογισμού.
