Hallo! Musik Schmidt :D ich bin piano spielen für zwei jahre bereits... ich muss wissen wenn das piano hat das ability zu transpose... ist das mit DEMO/SONG + METRONOME?
Danke Sehr! Auf Wiedersehen!
------------------------------------------
Hello Music Smith! I have been playing piano for about 2 years now, and just wanted to know if this piano has the ability to transpose is that with DEMO/SONG key + METRONOME key?
@Rosati84 hammond is a type of organ, just google it, but the organ wich comes with the P95 is something between an hammond organ and a transistor organ.
I reasently bought the p-95 b... and I really like it! but I have one question.... how do you place it on a cross stand? it just lays upon it, and can move freely upon it! that is anoying! so, is this supposed to be the case? or can it be attached? so that it doesn't move.
@LazyPeanutbutter I don't think so. I went to the Yamaha showroom today as I plan to buy it too and they said they give a sustain pedal free of cost on purchasing the instrument. I didn't find any such keys on the instrument.
@LazyPeanutbutter no there is no auto sustain, i would recomend to buy a better pedal thoug, you can find them from 20 dlls and give you a better feeling.
greetings fellas: can somebody help me with my premature question?
I am intending to buy the p95, or any similar piano for a family member...instead of dgx640 (unfortunately)
What if I decide to make beats with it (lets assume that my PC has a MIDI interface) will I be able to play drums, or guitars....any instrument infact by the means of using cakewalk software for example?
Or does it depend only on the software itself no matter what type of piano I use?
I just bought a yamaha p95 and I was wondering if it is possible to record the sound of the yamaha p95 directly to the computer without the use of a microphone. (via MIDI?)
You'll need a MIDI interface for your computer, plus whatever recording software you like. Alternatively, you can record audio from audio output (either the headphone jack or line out on the back) into your computer VIA a recording interface like the Presonus Firebox.
I've got an E-mu 1616m recording interface.. so it should be possible for me but i can't figure out how :|
When I connect the headphone output of the P95 to the Line-in of the E-mu, the piano comes through but sounds really different from what it should be sounding like. (and it automatically creates sound without the use of any recording program.. so it should be the Windows converters that make it sound so bad :| How do i fix it?
Hi, I've got the Edirol MIDI USB interface, and I've downloaded the record pad software, but how to record directly from the P 95 piano to the computer using the MIDI interface plus the recording software ?
what's the tune from 4:02 to 4:22 cause it sounds familiar, or is it yours ? If so, do you have any notes ? really, i'd be very grateful, greetings. :)
@sandertjje13 hello there. can u tell me whats the major difference between this model and the news np-v80? I'm new at this just wanna understand it ^^. I know that the p95 has one more scale but aside from that they look identical, still the p95 is much more expensive. Is it the keys?
Is the p95 more expensive?! i don't believe actually.
the np-v80 have a lot more sounds and a display. The np have also more beats and stuff.
The P95 have only 10 different sounds and an metronome, And the sound of the NP-v80 is good. Maybe you can read some reviews on the internet. I haven't seen the NP-v80, only on internet, so i can't say how the speakers are.
@sandertjje13 The reason for the price difference is because the P-95 has weighted keys. The NP's keys are not weighted (I think they use "Graded Standard" which isn't at all close to a real piano).

Is there any sustain option in the Yamaha P95B?
As in, is there any button which you can press, and then the keys you press will be sustained?

Just bought the 95 yesterday.
I've tried the p85 to, but the p95 has better speakers though.
It costs maybe a hundred bucks more, but its worth it

Which is a better choice? The Yamaha p95, or the Korg sp170? Which has a better piano sound? and Which is more comfortable?
JazzProgBoss 1 year ago
@JazzProgBoss
The Korg sp170 can become anoying at the end for not having voice button. You have to press key keys in order to change your voice.....
The Yamaha gives you the option to record your performance and you have duo voice.
For the price difference, Yamaha is, to me, the only choice
gri34psous 1 year ago
@JazzProgBoss P95 is way better, it feels better than the Korg, and the keys are greater, too.
same goes for the sound, i like the yamaha more personally

How is the p95 different from the p85 in terms of sound quality and compared to the p155, how is the action? Thanks =)
Xannava 1 year ago
@Xannava
Improvements of the P-95 are:
1) The black keys look more classy
2) New jazz organ, different sound than the p-85
3) One additional sound (choir)
4) Improved speakers
5) Improved bottom side, so the piano now can be placed on an usual x-rack
greetings from a german fellow :)
