damn Deek, you need the landless peasant party to be international, since they are trying to go global; so should we. Or maybe we should just all move to Australia and irrigate the desert.
@weldorjay ...right on,I live in New Zealand,we at the end of the earth dealing with the same shit as European peasants do there,really is global how we being dicked. Sadly Australia is now the United States of Australia and any alternative Landless Peasant movement to their arid bits would be met with red neck resistence,check out what happens to their boat people.
How I despise ppeople who think picking on the poor shows how supoerior they are.Why don't you come to my poor neighborhood and say that shit and we'll show you how we can act cooperatively? @INGRAM0009 I'm just going to punch the straw man once and go, I don't hve time to dissect your inane comment completely.
"90% of the people who voted for him were under 30" I take you are implying they voted for him because they are inexperienced and thus lack an understanding for how the world works, but that is illogical because to see the truth in his views for what they are requires a deep understanding into how the world really works...
@INGRAM0009 you must have listened to a different show, or you are just talking for the sake of it. Elvis and cocal cola dont rule the world - elvis is dead and coke is a liquid. Nationalism is for morons and The NWO exist only the the imagination of the imaginer. Im for people exerting influence over their own lives by taking responsibility for them ....isnt that a good thing - discuss
@Skurataw good idea, just like manard did by making up the freeman bullshit and selling packages to people for $250 a pop. The freeman thing is bogus. Honestly, i despair. A simple google search will prove this
Father Dougal claims he can't be the first to work it out, ahaha he's a freeman, i should have seen it coming. Just another barely educated loon who thinks he's onto something.
Sounds like a great party that, planting food and going for a walk with the freemen. Here's an idea, get a fucking allotment
There's irony in there somewhere, you know not wanting a nwo then proposing that world do as you say.like er forcing you to work 10 hours a week on the land, sounds like china to me, fkn stupid
Great minds discuss ideas Average minds discuss events Small minds discuss people Eleanor Roosevelt

George Carlin said it best: "We haven't even learned to care for one another yet and we're gonna save the fuckin' planet? The planet is fine, the people are fucked" I agree with you Deek-people should be able to do whatever they want. However, they must accept responsibility for what they do. We should all play guitars, smoke some weed on the patio and look at the skies to see if we see any ships, :)
I am proud to be from the same part of the world as this thinking scotsman...Deek, Charlie Veitch, Stuart Usher at the Wake up Call conference in Kirkcaldy this weekend
dont forget the sea....... start with the land ..... G.D P.. Bolivia researching at this time.... acronym for GD P.... Gross Dumb Peasant.... shit loads of em in Bolivia,regards, first the land then the sea!!!
I love everything you do and everything you stand for. But, while you're absolutely right on about the land thing, you're absolutely wrong too. There is much more individual wealth in America, there is plenty of cheap land available and plenty of it without any building codes or zoning. Continued.....
There are 40 million people on food stamps in America, and yet, just try to get a few of those folks to move out into the country and take care of themselves! No fucking way! They simply have no concept of cooperating, sharing and functioning democratically.... and living simply.
@TheCommunalSolution never mind them - what about you. Your life is yours their life is theirs. im not interested in saving the world , im interested in making the world. If we can demonstrate a way of life that works for us, while being happy for others in theirs great. Were free to do as we please, to shape reality and make our own choices.
@Skurataw @Skuratow Not paying your taxes, committing financial fraud, driving around without A license or A fake one, are not solutions to what is happening. Yes we do need to stand against financial terrorism, false flag attacks, taxation w/o representation, forced vaccinations & even striping away the right to defend yourself. Please tell me how the sovereign movement will make this happen.
I disagree with you Deek about Jones not offering solutions. They speak of solutions all the time. Although they may differ than your own solutions wich I applaud & support. To say there is A magical silver bullet would be a fallacy. The solution is staring at us in the mirror, we all need to take action. The dvds have A limited impact and are only one tool to facilitate an awakening.
@fknnewz The action is voting for realists and constitutionalists, Ron Paul types. If Hitler can take power through the democratic process, why can't someone like Ron Paul do it?
It will probably take someone with better oratory skills and more handsome than Ron Paul has, which is how Obama got elected. The guy is a total phony who can read well with sharp smile. I wouldn't be surprised if Peter Schiff becomes President down the road.
@GtheMVP You said planning dept want us living like insects....the land registry office in logo looks like honeycomb ie like off of a bees nest/hive. Thought that was interesting.
@fknnewz It's my opinion that Alex Jones is part of the psy ops and is "controlled opposition". Much like Ron Paul helped to weed out the patriots and identify them for future roundup, those who are Jones disciples are similarly marked.
I liked this; it was good to hear you expound your ideas some more.
Regarding the 'vision': I'm sure TPTB have one! Whatever they are, they are not stupid. I don't think they believe the delusions that they themselves have created. For allowing themselves to be deceived -- it is the unthinking masses that are the fools.
its consumerism not capitalism..... capitalism is based on saving for what u want... and in terms of money... is gold based..... x amount of dollars based off our savings in gold.... america at least hasnt been capitalist since 1911....im not sure when u guys lost ur wealth
@ORACLE063 "capitalism is based on saving for what u want" I thought it was based on exploiting labour by investing capital , "using the invisible hand of enlightened self interest" Adam Smith. Whatever you call it I dont want it and shouldnt have to do it. Universality of a solution is a hallmark of fascism. Peasants want a choice not an explanation of why we must all do things one way.
@fknnewz What would you call a free market (e.g. no government) in a society that accepts the Proudhanian concept of property rights? Barter I guess; capitalism does not work when all individuals understand that land cannot be owned legitimately.
@fknnewz You said planning dept want us living like insects....the land registry office logo looks like honeycomb ie like off of a bees nest/hive. Thought that was interesting.
@fknnewz A true free market doesn't demand participation. What you're describing is a coercive monopoly\cartel system. Don't mistake the status quo for one. As for currency, well free marker currencies until you get to the problem of the (small) taxation required for small government (unless you prefer the absence of it entirely).
It's interesting, but hardly credible, for followers of a modern political movement to expropriate the suffering and death of actual victims of the nazis. Just because it is the most extreme example to reach for, doesn't give you license to compare yourself to them. Come on Deek.
Ohh sure we all know this whole fkn whatever is just a cover, and in real life you are still working on your genetic manipulation efforts to create the super race in your own likeness. Like we can't see through the thin veil of lies you post on youtube and see your inner nazi.
@12stringsforme I think you might be confused as to what he was referring to when he bought up the Nazi's. How did the Nazi's come into Power in the first place? After WWI Germany was Poor, many Corporate types from all over sponsored the Nazi's.
@KageTrauma OK. . . it just sounded as though Deek was equating the current situation to what the victims of the Nazis suffered. Of course the Nazis came into power by the legal voting mechanisms of the day. They were completely open about their goals as well. And Germans fell for it.
For the record, "The Lonewolf survival strategy" was not the first or even second choice. When one is wholesale abandoned by a cultural construct which worships violent irrationality and one is systematically both physically and psychologically exiled from the herd by 'economic' tyrants, then what one has left is one's direct survival responsibility to personal integrity. Also, 'the Lonewolf" meme is currently being transformed into a pack meme. As always, events overwhelm every expectation
We are the NWO, every time we shop at ASDA or Walmart
take responsibility for your own actions, if you really want to change the system then unplug from the system, you can do it millions of ways: grow your own food, get solar panels on your roof, but your kitchen rolls, tp and fairtrade teas and coffees from charity shops, etc etc etc it's YOUR call
set a good example, show how easy it is, and those around you will see and copy
The monetary system is designed to bankrupt entire nations. There will never be a full repayment of any debt what so ever. The monetary system IS the problem! This is what we have to get rid off. And while I know many here will disagree with me, I will still stress that you should at least look up The Venus Project's Resource Based Economy as a viable alternative. It is not the best solution but in my opinion a damn better system than the bullshit fiat economy we participate in today.
But where is this free market? Why don't they let it happen? It would seem governments are always intervening in the 'free market'. No, I do not think this is a better alternative. The fabled so called free market simply is the capitalism we have now but maxed out with no-holds barred competition between corporations who won't give two fucks about you or result in an oligarchy to fleece you alive. The world moved past barter because it cannot be used as a good medium of exchange.
@bad4ever2001 It worked just fine before Reganomics/Thatcherism took us right back to the conditions we have now. I live in the Province of Alberta in Canada. Free Market is a wonderful system. Just because world corruption gets in the way and changes it to a managed system doesn't take away the fact that free market is best. Your alternative is to just give those in power the resources to divy out like it was a communist nation. Perhaps you think we are in a free market system right now?
No I do not. According to what you say about the free market working for you; do you not think why it does not anymore? The problem is the concept itself. As long as there is money, there will always be those who want to amass copius amounts of it causing corruption, greed and monetary related crime. I am supporting a system that bypassess it entirely, a resource based economy has no governments controlling anything as such institutions will be obsolete.
I disagree. For instance, we have the technology to feed every person on the planet right now. The only limitation we always have is: How much money is this going to cost? It is an expensive project!, bla bla bla, etc. If you discard the money aspect and simply implemented the latest agricultural techniques on a wide scale, world hunger would become an embarassing phase in the history of our species. To start you on this, i refer to the omega garden system, check it out on YT.
@bad4ever2001 Look Mr Fresco, I know we have the resources to build such a project, but it's just not going to happen, people love their shit. I don't see a niche store that sells final fantasy characters and comic books in a resource based economy, for ex
Our direction is completely unsustainable, I'm in full agreement there, but if we can move to sustainable living with a true free market while stopping corporatism, we'll be okay. cont...
@GtheMVP ALsowe need to erase the illusion that 3% annual growth is realistic, as it has boom and busts cycles Simple math statyes that we can't infinite growth, which is why our current system needs bankruptcies.
If we just print the money we need to exchange goods and bring corporations back to what they're supposed to be, servants to the people, not infinite/uncontrollable growth monsters, we can fix our system. cont..
Yeah, 3% growth over a 100 years is what? I agree with you on that. And as to your second paragraph, why not just perfect methods of producing such goods and distributing them? We really do not need the limitations of money :}
People love their 'shit' because people have been conditioned to love their 'shit'. Frankly the overall point is to free people from boring repetitive work and give them more time to love their 'shit'. If you were a comic book artist with free time, your basic needs met and no need to do work, plus you have a following, don't you think you would have more time to perfect your work? As long as money exists, corporations will always be corrupt; i wish the opposite was true though.
THat's not true, you're making general statements, just like Jacqes and Peter. When I talk aobut people's love for their shit, I'm not speaking about the products they've been brainswashed into lusting after, Edward Bernays style. No one conditioned me to purchase final fantasy 7 figures, I wanted them to commerate the game I loved as a younger man. People love this type of stuff, and it has no place in a resource based economy supplying 7 billion people.
If that is the case, then how much of you, is you? Take time to think about it. We are always processing information from our environment. If you were born and raised in the amazonian rain forest and suddenly someone plonked an xbox 360 in front of you, how would you react to it? Every body is influenced in one way or the other. You and I both know this example as our culture is rife with it. And of course you were conditioned to buy ff7 figurines how else did you know about it?
@bad4ever2001 I should ask you how much of you is you, all i'm hearing is Fresco in your words.
Look man, there's nothing wrong with wantings certain things, so long as you can see past consumerism manipulation. Are you proposing that we live in baren pre-fabricated houses? A resource based economy is a restrictive one. I say we move towards total sustainablitilty, free energy, and make corporations servants again.
There is nothing wrong with Jacque Fresco's words being my own. Almost everything I say was burrowed from someone who burrowed it from someone else; it's how you use it that counts. No body is saying anyone should live in a barren pre-fab house. You really should look more into the RBE, it's much more than that. Sustainability, free energy yes, but as long as there is a profit incentive, the corporation will anwser to no one; so no.
@bad4ever2001 I see your point about mundande jobs too, but a truly free market with responsible monetary policies, ie controlling the money supply/taking it away from banksters, can allow people to become whatever they wish. Money is just a means to barter witohut having to carry around the piano you want to sell, it shoudn't be scarce, it should be a servant to us, not a weapon against us.
This is true in theory, but as long as money remains a means to survival, humans will do what ever they can to amass copius amounts of it; even if it means subjugating others. I prefer a system where everyone can have a piano, golf club, [insert item here], etc. There would be no need to barter or the need to sell anything as everything is provided for every one. Money should never be weaponized, but it is; it's use in our system has bred us to fight each other on an infinite basis.
And besides, my gripe with the whole market system is the cost that comes with it. Yes, we have had innovations, yes it has brought us technology but at what cost? The subjugation of billions to economic slavery, the extinction of thousands of species not to mention the infinite consumption paradigm that fuels every 'economy' on the planet. How can we continue to consume resources that are limited? No; an overhaul is needed, I haven't even touched the corruption aspect too.
@bad4ever2001 Just because people are too dumb to pay attention to how their world operates doesn't mean the systems that work have failed. It's the citizens of the respective countries who have failed themselves. Regardless of how you feel about a TRUE free market economy, the system you would like to see replace the current one is giving more power to those who are currently fucking the system we have. Until people stand up for their own consumer rights, nothing will change.
The phrase: 'money is god' is found in our day to day lives because it really is just that. As long as money exists, no matter how many reforms you implement, we will always arrive at this very juncture we are now discussing. This system will always fail, it will always breed corruption with no end in sight. In a RBE, there is no power base as there is no ruling class. Resources are managed via automation and computer based management systems.
@bad4ever2001 I am actively aware of the effects my shopping has on the world around me, I do not buy products that support those who would see our system collapse or those who would "Manage" the markets. A free market system is viable, but the mass apathy that people have is only 1/3rd the problem, with corporations another 1/3rd. Ignorance is the final 1/3rd. And more than half the worlds population is ignorant to why we are no longer a free market system. I think you are among that half.
I am not sure if my perspective that the continuing failure of the system you advocate is actually ignorance so I will disagree with you on that. Considering traces of free market practices more or less caused the last economic recession prompting government intervention I am not entirely sure a true free market is the best solution at all. And as I replied to someone on this page earlier, at what cost?
@bad4ever2001 A TRUE FREE MARKET system has not been in existence since well before the 1980's. Unless you remember a pre Regenomics/Thatcherism system, what you are talking about is not a Free Market system. It is a MANAGED Market System. And Managed Market systems CAN NEVER SUCCEED. So if you're using the current system and current crash to gauge your idea's of a FREE MARKET system, then that's the ignorance I speak of, because there hasn't been a Free Market system in over 40 years.
@bad4ever2001 WHy not work towards a true free market then? Why do we have to give up on it altogether? There have been periods of time when the market was free, and Liberty and fair monetary policies ruled the day.
Why not bring coporations back to what they were initially allowed to become?
Barter will always be used, even if a Venus project surfaces, because you cannot give 7 billion people evrything they'd like, and that's taking brainwashed consumerism out of the picture.
@bad4ever2001 so will you share you resouce fraction of 15'000 units to 1 needed with some guy in somalia or elsewhere on the world?
grow your own food and bater it, then you'll know what resource based net energy actually means..... I somhow dont think you prepared to hand grow and sell spudds, so you can afford 10 secounds of YT per anno
The idea is to share the world's resources with the worlds people. We are essentially one species with ethnic differences, although we still one species. And if you look into the concept of a resource based economy you will see that there is no need for exchange of goods as these are provided for free...in fact, it is a right for every human being to have access to goods. You ever heard of the omega gardens? look it up here on YT; you don't much need land with that kind of tech.
@bad4ever2001 I know where your comming from, the problem is very simple, it's called exponential growth, even if you leave ot the econemy factor, you still have 9 billion humans breeding like rabbits........ that kind of concept will only function once you 100% recycle everthing pre to production and if earth population is way below todays value. a breakthrough in energy storage and production is also key factor.
@LastReplaySC it will allmost certainly go the other way, many deaths wars starvation and waste-land, with a fraction of the enrgy humanity will expand into space if they don't wipe themselves out by them selfes or if some comet, asteroide or metoorite dosen't take care of that before hand.
the Earth based Humanity will be like hell for most people.
the guys we slave for want to live forever and get off this dirtball when the shit hits the fan ..... No utopia for us!
@LastReplaySC by that time you wont be able to tell if "humanity" is human anymore, we'll be more like cyborgs with all kinds of upgrades...... but only they that can pay for it ..... get my drift! we will almost have no comon anything with them!
It is the logical parth of all our technoligical achivements...... It's not thought for the masses unless they can turn usinto perfect drones.
@LastReplaySC that kind of "rich-fuckers" utopia comes under the category of "transhumanism" and the masses will do allmost anything for a Artificial working life-quality enhancer and expander as in ..... brain-chips, legs arms harts lungs You name it ! It's allready part of our western culture to be perfect, healthy and long-living.
I really implore you to at least read up on the Venus Project's Resource Based Economy. It is not utopia as there is no such thing, but it is a damn better and sensible alternative to this mess we are currently wallowing in. At least everyone who commented on this video page is worried about the species, that common ground is very humbling for me. I just can't place any faith in any monetary economic system anymore.
Have you ever considered why in every city, only people who live in low level or lower class areas breed more children than the upper or middle class? The first difference you will notice here is information, in the form of education. In the UK for instance there are all too common cases of families shooting out children to take advantage of benefits. By educating the population and improving their standard of living, it becomes very possible to indirectly control over breeding.
@bad4ever2001 As for a MANAGED MARKET system, I agree. It's a complete failure, government involvement will always mess up a system, and especially governments who manage the system for these multinational corporations is making it far worse. If the current crash was allowed to run it's course the system, in a FREE MARKET system will right itself. However we are not in a FREE MARKET system. So you are arguing against something that no longer exists. The system you think is free, is managed.
A true free market is determined by the laws of supply and demand right? Corporations have to supply goods being demanded for and compete with others that want to do the same. All corporations have one single common ground: profit. It is their sole means of survival. Now you will have fierce competition amongst the corporations until the largest few collude and extort consumers for money. The cost being: gratuitious waste of resources and human lives. I can never support this.
@bad4ever2001 supply and demand is a small minor aspect of Free Market. Again your ignorance shines through amazingly strong. Supply and Demand is in EVERY MARKET SYSTEM. It's not exclusive to free market, or managed market. The bread lines in communist U.S.S.R were based on supply and demand. But they had low supply even though demand far outweighed the supply. A true free market is a system where those corporations who make shady products fail, because of quality products selling instead
@bad4ever2001 Your idea's of what a free market system is aren't even that of a junior high level. You need to educate yourself on what economics really is before you keep running your uneducated mouth off every time somebody says something you don't like hearing. If you even knew what the system you oppose was then you would not oppose it. But instead of actually researching anything people are telling you, you're sticking your fingers in your ears going LALALALALA.
If my simplistic analysis of a true free market is lacking, then whey don't you tell me exactly what it is? I prefer that to your sudden school boy rantings. I have very good understandings as to the various economic systems and even more on why they failed, fail and keep failing. I want a system that actually makes sense not one that breeds, infiniite consuption on limited resources, greed and corruption. Now tell me something I do not know about a true free market.
@bad4ever2001 A free market system existed for hundreds of years before the industrial revolution without damage to the planet. Again you should study what systems you actually oppose. Market systems are the systems that have ALWAYS existed since the market bazzars of biblical times. Barter systems are market systems which existed long before the industrial revolution. The reason the planet is being raped is because of uneducated consumers like you.
@bad4ever2001 If you've ever used or received a plastic bag, you're contributing to the system you so claim to oppose. If you shop at a mall or a shopping center, buy your meat or veggies in bags or plastic wrap you're contributing to the system you claim to oppose. You don't even know what it is you oppose you just want to rant and rave about precious mother earth. But what exactly are you doing in your daily shopping routines to help end consumer waste and lead to a brighter future?
@bad4ever2001 Until you can honestly say that the method in which you shop and consume has a sustainable effect, without any waste, then come talk to me about raping mother earth. Do you drive a car? you help support the destruction of land by drilling for oil. In effect you could be partly blamed for the oil spill that is happening in the gulf of mexico because that oil is used for gasoline and energy. How do you get your electricity? Do you gather your own sun or wind power?
@bad4ever2001 Your ignorance to any real solution makes me laugh because instead of actively curbing the system that you so claim to hate that you have no idea about, you would rather sit back and spout off your hate on the internet instead of being active in a solution. The fact that you are continually coming at me with weak retorts has proven to me that you are not part of the solution, but instead are a whining contributor to the problem. So before you start crying about the system, LEARN!
@bad4ever2001 Do you have indoor plumbing? Do you watch tv and have indoor lighting? Do you have a gas or electrical oven? Do you use a microwave? Until you can say the actions you partake in your daily life contribute to the solution instead of the problem your ignorant to the idea's you claim to hold. So sure, uneducated ignorance is always going to like idea's that people who appear smarter than them offer because it requires less critical thinking than actually thinking for yourself.
@bad4ever2001 But you refuse to educate yourself instead going on opinion and conjecture. So perhaps one day you might learn something, until then you sound more and more like an idiot every time you reply to me or anyone else you try to refute. LEARN what a free market system is, before assuming you understand economics kid. Or follow the false Zietgiest movement which is designed to enslave you further. But if you want to be a slave who am I to argue your wants.
What kind of education do you need to realize failure when you see it? I know enough to out right reject market based economics and it's failures. If you cannot see the rape of the earth's environment and it's resources, the billions that suffer under an economic system that is almost no different to your 'free market' system nor the grasp of the infinite consumption paradigm then perhaps it is you who cannot see beyond your current state. And PS: we are all economic slaves. Right now.
If things were made to the best of their methods with materials made to last as well as being made 100% recyclable, we could have that situation now. But this system will not allow it as companies will always cut corners directly or in directly to force repeat business on consumers purely for their own survival. And I maintain that we do have the resources and technology to achieve abundant energy generation as well as environmentally friendly production methods.
@bad4ever2001 Does that clear up your confusion on what I mean?
As for the venus project solution, may I recommend you read up on the thoughts of Karl Marx. Because the solution you would support, is far worse, and a giant communist system. Communist socialist systems NEVER work for a market system. No matter what system it is. The U.S.S.R failed, and China converted to a capitalist system to ensure they didn't financially collapse as well. So history proves Jaques Fresco's ideas wrong.
I disagree. Communism failed because it had the institution of money and governments which also went on to breed corruption and class stratification. A global RBE, does not need 'markets', money and governments. Infact, these institutions are out dated constructs whoose failings are still visible today. History has not proven Jacque's ideas to be wrong because his ideas have not been realized yet. And no, I was never confused about anything you said.
@citrusponge about the contermination level gen crops fabricated artificial foods dy adjetives and or plastic vapor within about anythink you drink eat and can buy ..... safety? a metorite cold drop on you head ...... ya know what I mean?

The monetary system is designed to bankrupt entire nations. There will never be a full repayment of any debt what so ever. The monetary system IS the problem! This is what we have to get rid off. And while I know many here will disagree with me, I will still stress that you should at least look up The Venus Project's Resource Based Economy as a viable alternative. It is not the best solution but in my opinion a damn better system than the bullshit fiat economy we participate in today.
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 A free market or a barter system is far better than the "Alternative" view of the venus project that the powers that be would offer.

@weazz
The world moved past barter because it cannot be used as a good medium of exchange.
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 It worked just fine before Reganomics/Thatcherism took us right back to the conditions we have now. I live in the Province of Alberta in Canada. Free Market is a wonderful system. Just because world corruption gets in the way and changes it to a managed system doesn't take away the fact that free market is best. Your alternative is to just give those in power the resources to divy out like it was a communist nation. Perhaps you think we are in a free market system right now?
weazz 1 year ago
@weazz
No I do not. According to what you say about the free market working for you; do you not think why it does not anymore? The problem is the concept itself. As long as there is money, there will always be those who want to amass copius amounts of it causing corruption, greed and monetary related crime. I am supporting a system that bypassess it entirely, a resource based economy has no governments controlling anything as such institutions will be obsolete.
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 I can't see that system working, not until replicators are invented.
A true free market hasn't been in existence since the Federal reserve came into effect, so we can't say it doesn't work.

I disagree. For instance, we have the technology to feed every person on the planet right now. The only limitation we always have is: How much money is this going to cost? bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@GtheMVP
As long as money exists, corporations will always be corrupt; i wish the opposite was true though.
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
THat's not true, you're making general statements, just like Jacqes and Peter. When I talk aobut people's love for their shit, I'm not speaking about the products they've been brainswashed into lusting after, Edward Bernays style. No one conditioned me to purchase final fantasy 7 figures, I wanted them to commerate the game I loved as a younger man. People love this type of stuff, and it has no place in a resource based economy supplying 7 billion people.
GtheMVP 1 year ago
@GtheMVP
And of course you were conditioned to buy ff7 figurines how else did you know about it?
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 I should ask you how much of you is you, all i'm hearing is Fresco in your words.
Look man, there's nothing wrong with wantings certain things, so long as you can see past consumerism manipulation. Are you proposing that we live in baren pre-fabricated houses? A resource based economy is a restrictive one. I say we move towards total sustainablitilty, free energy, and make corporations servants again.
GtheMVP 1 year ago
@GtheMVP
There is nothing wrong with Jacque Fresco's words being my own. Almost everything I say was burrowed from someone who burrowed it from someone else; it's how you use it that counts. No body is saying anyone should live in a barren pre-fab house. You really should look more into the RBE, it's much more than that. Sustainability, free energy yes, but as long as there is a profit incentive, the corporation will anwser to no one; so no.
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 I see your point about mundande jobs too, but a truly free market with responsible monetary policies, ie controlling the money supply/taking it away from banksters, can allow people to become whatever they wish. Money is just a means to barter witohut having to carry around the piano you want to sell, it shoudn't be scarce, it should be a servant to us, not a weapon against us.
GtheMVP 1 year ago
@GtheMVP
Money should never be weaponized, but it is; it's use in our system has bred us to fight each other on an infinite basis.
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@GtheMVP
No; an overhaul is needed, I haven't even touched the corruption aspect too.
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 Just because people are too dumb to pay attention to how their world operates doesn't mean the systems that work have failed. It's the citizens of the respective countries who have failed themselves. Regardless of how you feel about a TRUE free market economy, the system you would like to see replace the current one is giving more power to those who are currently fucking the system we have. Until people stand up for their own consumer rights, nothing will change.
weazz 1 year ago
@weazz
Resources are managed via automation and computer based management systems.
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 I am actively aware of the effects my shopping has on the world around me, I do not buy products that support those who would see our system collapse or those who would "Manage" the markets. A free market system is viable, but the mass apathy that people have is only 1/3rd the problem, with corporations another 1/3rd. Ignorance is the final 1/3rd. And more than half the worlds population is ignorant to why we are no longer a free market system. I think you are among that half.
weazz 1 year ago
@weazz
I am not sure if my perspective that the continuing failure of the system you advocate is actually ignorance so I will disagree with you on that. Considering traces of free market practices more or less caused the last economic recession prompting government intervention I am not entirely sure a true free market is the best solution at all. And as I replied to someone on this page earlier, at what cost?
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 A TRUE FREE MARKET system has not been in existence since well before the 1980's. Unless you remember a pre Regenomics/Thatcherism system, what you are talking about is not a Free Market system. It is a MANAGED Market System. And Managed Market systems CAN NEVER SUCCEED. So if you're using the current system and current crash to gauge your idea's of a FREE MARKET system, then that's the ignorance I speak of, because there hasn't been a Free Market system in over 40 years.
weazz 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 WHy not work towards a true free market then? Why do we have to give up on it altogether? There have been periods of time when the market was free, and Liberty and fair monetary policies ruled the day.
Why not bring coporations back to what they were initially allowed to become?
Barter will always be used, even if a Venus project surfaces, because you cannot give 7 billion people evrything they'd like, and that's taking brainwashed consumerism out of the picture.

The idea is to share the world's resources with the worlds people. We are essentially one species with ethnic differences, although we still one species. You ever heard of the omega gardens? look it up here on YT; you don't much need land with that kind of tech.

bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@LastReplaySC
Have you ever considered why in every city, only people who live in low level or lower class areas breed more children than the upper or middle class? The first difference you will notice here is information, in the form of education. In the UK for instance there are all too common cases of families shooting out children to take advantage of benefits. By educating the population and improving their standard of living, it becomes very possible to indirectly control over breeding.
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 As for a MANAGED MARKET system, I agree. It's a complete failure, government involvement will always mess up a system, and especially governments who manage the system for these multinational corporations is making it far worse. If the current crash was allowed to run it's course the system, in a FREE MARKET system will right itself. However we are not in a FREE MARKET system. So you are arguing against something that no longer exists. The system you think is free, is managed.
weazz 1 year ago
@weazz
I can never support this.
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 supply and demand is a small minor aspect of Free Market. Again your ignorance shines through amazingly strong. Supply and Demand is in EVERY MARKET SYSTEM. It's not exclusive to free market, or managed market. The bread lines in communist U.S.S.R were based on supply and demand. But they had low supply even though demand far outweighed the supply. A true free market is a system where those corporations who make shady products fail, because of quality products selling instead
weazz 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 Your idea's of what a free market system is aren't even that of a junior high level. You need to educate yourself on what economics really is before you keep running your uneducated mouth off every time somebody says something you don't like hearing. If you even knew what the system you oppose was then you would not oppose it. But instead of actually researching anything people are telling you, you're sticking your fingers in your ears going LALALALALA.

I want a system that actually makes sense not one that breeds, infiniite consuption on limited resources, greed and corruption. Now tell me something I do not know about a true free market.
bad4ever2001 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 A free market system existed for hundreds of years before the industrial revolution without damage to the planet. Again you should study what systems you actually oppose. Market systems are the systems that have ALWAYS existed since the market bazzars of biblical times. Barter systems are market systems which existed long before the industrial revolution. The reason the planet is being raped is because of uneducated consumers like you.
weazz 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 If you've ever used or received a plastic bag, you're contributing to the system you so claim to oppose. If you shop at a mall or a shopping center, buy your meat or veggies in bags or plastic wrap you're contributing to the system you claim to oppose. You don't even know what it is you oppose you just want to rant and rave about precious mother earth. But what exactly are you doing in your daily shopping routines to help end consumer waste and lead to a brighter future?
weazz 1 year ago
@bad4ever2001 Until you can honestly say that the method in which you shop and consume has a sustainable effect, without any waste, then come talk to me about raping mother earth.

@weazz
Right now.

@LastReplaySC

@weazz
