What do u guys all mean by mercedes kills bmw, mercedies kills audi etc... they are all pretty much the same cars with very little technological differences. None of them really have a competitive advantage over another. Its just the way you perceive them as an individual ( due to ads etc), one prefers Mercedes, another prefers BMW or Audi. No one wins in this market.

I can assure you, I would go for the comfortable ride quality of the E Class any day . On country roads we still have lots of awful potholes. Obviously our motorways are smooth.

Mercedes bought Chrysler not the other way round. Please check your facts before posting. Some Mercedes cars are built outside Europe but the same is true for many other cars as well. Mercedes and BMW have one or the other model that is superior to the other but overall they are pretty evenly matched.

It is often used as a Taxi because people love the comfort and they really like Mercedes Benz (as in my case). They took one apart in a magazine report after 60,000 miles. The E class did better than other cars. They said it was made with very good parts.

kedde1. Dublin, like most of the Irish Republic and the UK have been very badly affected by the recession. In Dublin so much was attatched to property with the banks and the people. We will recover. We are positive minded and determined people. Ireland love E Class Mercedes. I will definitely buy one in time !!! Several neighbours up my road have E Class Mercedes. It will always be by No.1 car !!

Well you have a 3.5 liter V6 in other cars too but they drink more fuel and spit out more gases... This version is for people who want a more powerful car and be eco-friendly. Otherwise i dont really care for the mileage. I have an old 450 with 4.5 gasoline and it drink a LOT but... I enjoy the ride as in anything else... That is what matters! =D
