  • Rest in peace, DJ 8-Ball.

  • I can't believe some of you guys. This is a game. It was designed to be fun. Why all the argument over whether PA or freestyle is better? It makes no difference, play the game the way it's most fun to you and carry on with your own life.

  • Nostalgia :(

  • If not for seeing this video back in 2005 I wouldn't have given BEMANI games a second glance. I daresay this video, along with LISU's V tatsujin in IIDX, made me the gamer I am today.

  • :D still awesome after 8 years!

  • This is what got me and my friends into DDR - learning how to freestyle. Used to download so many of these videos.

Sorry to say it but the reputation of this game was ruined when it stopped being about fun and showmanship and it started to be dominated by nerds who only cared about getting high scores on difficult songs no matter what it looked like.

Throw in a fucking knee drop or something for the crowd.:(

  • i think you misunderstand his point

  • @Napstrpsx

To me, there is nothing more fun than getting a perfect attack on a ridiculously hard song.

  • @Napstrpsx I disagree. The REAL nerds are the one who got into this freestyle thing. The game wasn't made for this so this freestyle stuff was invented by DDR nerds who failed to realise that in actuality these routines were NERDY. If you wanna dance, LEARN to dance for real, meet some bboys or poppers & get into the real scene! Notice how he got the the biggest cheers for POPPING moves (done badly & would get no respect from real poppers).

I used to do this freestyle stuff & now I cringe.

  • @djhabibi04 Haterade!

  • @djhabibi04 The thing is most people, yourself included wouldn't have gotten into freestyle if it wasn't for dancegames. The biggest embarrasment is cringing on your past and pretending it was a waste of time. I'd say DDR was one of the most productive times as it motivated so many well known dancers to learn to pop and bbboy.

  • DAMN! he really good ! amazing dancer !! :D

  • changos hace tanto que no veia este video que Se me vinieron Recuerdos memorables... ^^ Que bien video... q buen FS!

  • Do inferno!!!!

  • I wonder if 8-Ball is still doing this stuff.

  • Certainly hope he is. He has talent and cheese on his side :)

  • @Efreeti

hes still djing but freestyling no

  • Cool.

  • the video is incredibly off-sync.

all i can say is, this is the ballsiest routine off all time.

  • yeah it happened after the youtube upload.

  • Legend has it that he forgot the last part of the routine so he just DID THE FUCKING WORM. I remember reading on something on DDRFreaks to that effect.

  • yo veo porno

  • this is my #1 favorite ddr freestyle video of all time. its a shame that youtube makes it offsync though.

  • Yeah, i've the video on DivX and try to upload here but the same results, it get's offsynched.

  • Heh. I know for a fact that he was wearing mountain biking gloves, shin guards and hard knee pads for "safety.' old man! LOL

  • yeah the video is out of sync with the music

  • this is EXTREMELY OFF SYNC! (the video I mean)

  • this sucks

  • HOLY COW!! That guy was brave O.O

  • Definitely one of the most excellent and polished DDR Freestyle routines.

  • holy crap that was frickin' tight! xD major props to that guy!

  • DJ 8-ball is one of my favorite DDR players, his style rules.

  • even though iam not a big fan of DDR, iam already big fan of this guy.
