I went to the DC and ATL shows for this. There was literally a stack of like 40 20 inch woofers at the back of the (now demolished) Nations dancefloor in DC. I walked up to it, and it was so loud and clean that it blew my hair on my head and arms a bit. It's one of the loudest parties of a medium size I think I've ever heard. Great sets in both cities. In ATL however, the union rules made it so some genius just pulled the plug on the power pretty early and Digweeds record just wound down.
I went to the Dallas, Houston and Austin shows (not in that order). Dallas was clearly the best b/c it was at the Bronco Bowl with 5,000 other retarded rolling kids. To see the two of them plus Lee Burridge (who was incredible) and Van M; most incredible night of my life. I've had some other great nights seeing Sasha, but nothing can top that.
awsome video, takes me back. i was at the music hall in austin. anyone know the first track with the vocals.. my bud had it on vinyl, but i cant remember
fuck yah the dallas show was amazing under world -Rez the last song and how the house lights came on it was an incredible experiene too bad theres no moer bronco bowl
Oh yeah, both of their warm up set was groovy and slow in the begining, but when Digger back the second time was insane! Peak all the way. They know when to drop the track when we're not expecting, they know how to keep us beg for more til they feel like changing directions. Only the veterans have the sense for their audience, only Sasha and Digweed have the guts to do whatever they want by pleasing the crowd in their own way. I'm glad I was part of that generation, I'm glad.
This is when progressive house was at its best ..... great memories saw delta heavy in las vegas will always be a long lasting memory that never can be topped. As a dj my self that night rather listening to a set as another dj i listened to this as a fan of what this music stood for and made me feel incredible night i just wish it still were the same, I just think these days only can truly relive in our memories.
Same here, went to C2K, watch tim skinner open for them and when digger and Sasha took over the deck, back to back and it was on! What a F ing set from both of them, speechless! Still remember every bits of it, what a memoriable night! I know exactly what you talking about, glad someone had the same experience as I did. Just so sad it will never be the same again.
yeah was a great night i saw them twice at C2k once opening with JVM and the other with Mr Skinner ...remember the sound system the bass on that thing was intense...
bronco bowl arena fool...I was there....Jeremy word did some the best dallas parties i went to there. also saw jus Sasha there...Lee buridge vs Jimmy Van M opened for Sasha....Dark Prog at its best
read what i put man, open your mince pies! lol.. It's Maria Nayler - Angry Skies ...you are.. you are.. you are.. you are.. you are.. that tune? It's very hard to get on vinyl, but i'm sure you can download it!
Remember after the lights came on at the Bronco Bowl.. Everyone screamed!! "Yea!!!!!"

I really feel that the Delta Heavy tour was the last great DJ performances by these two. Since then, they basically sound like every other DJ
