People go on Idol to gain exposure and to win a major-label contract. She's got the second half of that now.

Plus, she's had a little exposure, and she's got Simon's endorsement.

There was no guarantee Baylie would get any more exposure or a contract by returning to Idol. They cut good people all the time.
