I am trying to locate my father, Saream Reap. He was the soccer coach in the camp until 1985. My family lived there from 1980 to 1985. Lost contact with him since. Last known to have lived in New Zealand. I heard he lives in Australia now. If anyone remembers him please email me at lourntun@gmail.com. Thanks!
Hey ! look like me in this picture @ " Construction and engineering" group, 32 years ago. It brings me an eternal memories of good, bad and ugly out there. They're memories of life time after memories of hell that we were in. Hey ! the guy with green shirt, long hair, left hand on my shoulder, @ the front row, are you Leap ? or Angspeng ? I do not remember this name. may be you have different name. I say that cause Leap I know have more pict. in the vid.
Thanks 4 the photo, it make me feel like yesterday. I was there at that year ...for 4 months..and came straight to California. Will never forget that memories.
I am looking for a person; I belive he went to France. He worked in the hospital at Kao I Dang during 1979s-80s. His name is Tong Vanthon. I am not sure if he is dead or alive but his daughter is looking for him. She just wants to know if he is alive and she wants to see his face for the first time. She never seen him since she was born. If anyone know him please send email to dseng2002@msn.com
His duaghter and wife used to live in Rorka Kong but they both live in USA now.

That's where I used to live. Wow! I miss it so. I remembered once time at the camp. I wanted to learn The Khmer classical dance But my Mom wouldn't bring me to the dance register class. Oh! I cry all day & not eat at all. Than Almost night time Mom said if I eat she will bring me. The next morning she refused to bring me. Again, I cry out loud nonstop. I refused to eat anything. Finally by late afternoon she agreed to bring me to register. I felt like the most happiest child on earth.
You are lucky more than me. No matter how hard i tried to convinced my mom let me learn to dance she never budged. I still love Khmer classical dance no matter what.
