Ok for this recording it is not a sousaphone, I've played tuba/ sousaphone for 7 years and bass guitar for 4. I've recorded on various audio tracks for both and that is a bass guitar, it's just too smooth, you can't get such a clear round tone from recording a sousaphone.

@bubbaluke91 it actually is a bass if you listen to a tuba/sousaphone or however you spell it at the same time there is actually a pretty big difference

@Zigz15 Their website has a video of them recording this album and it features this track, it is a tuba, but he plays smooth and they can remove any brassy harshness from his sound in the recording process, but it's a tuba for sure... cool, huh?
