  • Arguing in youtube comments is a GIANT tell that you dont really play poker. Hence I AM HERE!

  • I've got FREE50USD and learned poker

    at biggest/best online poker school

    /watch?v=dPKvO4hPWUA

  • subconcious tells are more effective in my opinion

  • If i had pocket kings in that situation I'd still look back at my cards just to give the impression of what this video says is a tell. Eh, it really depends on the people i'm playing with and how familiar they are with the game

  • i remember when i first got into poker and learned my poker tells from mike caro. Big effin mistake

  • stupid vid I got better explanation.

    He is old.

He forgot what cards he had.

    ????

    Profit

  • lol , never play poker if you think that this is a great vid ...

  • it's cause he's old and can't remember his cards anymore....

  • this shit is so outdated!

  • SHITTEST VIDEO EVER

  • pros can setup bluff with that "tell" earlier in the game to represent potentials and when they hit their bluff outs later on they'll bluff.

  • i spoted the FISH !!

  • Caro's a huckster.

  • mike care is the man

  • ..... or he just forgot what his hand was......

    bad vid.

  • ya this is stupid.

  • Poker tells are overrated.

  • bullshit..i double check like every time i check and doesnt mean shit ..i look back at my cards..cause i forgot what i had..

  • but I assume you're not a pro, a pro would not check his cards.

  • wtf u mean a proi doesnt check?

  • well do you ever see pros checking their cards after the flop, turn or river? They don't because they realise that it gives away tells.

  • you see them check their cards all the time. Usually when checking to see if they have one of the suit if three of a suit is on the board

  • You're a really dumb person... A pro doesn't check his/her cards? You're stupid stupid stupid

  • they do if they're tryna double bluff. Make the opposition misread the purposeful tell

  • @Darkdemon911 BS I have seen plenty of poker pro's double check their cards....... You are a freaking donk if you believe that.

  • @kingicezachGUN

I don't believe that they don't double check their cards... if you would read my comment carefully you would know that I believe the opposite

  • mike caro eats poop

  • Eeew the 80's were so fugly

  • oops, just learned about one of mine!

  • this might be true like 10-20 years ago. but it is essentially outdated.

  • you'd be surprised how much it still applies... this works best on amateurs who just don't take time to learn this stuff

  • Intelligent players like Gus Hansen do the double check just to make it LOOK like they flopped a flush draw but actually they have something like top two.

  • good point... good players should avoid the false tells

  • I thought this was true... saw some guy playing in my local card room who I thought was a decent player... always see him there, generally winning.

    I got dealt Jacks, board comes Q 9 4

he bets and SIGH's which good players know is a release and a basic tell of a good hand.

I thought he was representing the Q hit him so i said "I picked up a fake tell, I call"

He flips over AQ.... so i was £60 worse off but now have a tell on him, i think!

  • if you forget the cards you have in the hole, you should not be playing poker!

  • I've got bad memory, I always double check my cards yet I'm quite successful at winning more that I lose. what do you say about that?

  • i say that ur playing amateurs who suck. play me , ill beat u down.

  • the point isn't if I can beat you or not, the point is ppl with bad memories could play poker. so as long as there are amateurs, it doesn't matter.

besides, if i check my cards every hand, what kind of tell is that? it's not any new information, just tells you i have a bad memory.

  • i know im jokin about it .

  • lol, ok.

  • Well if you have aces I bet you won't forget, and that will be a tell if you don't look asuming a skilled player has picked up that you always look at your cards one more time. So he might get away from the hand if he thinks you have a big over pair. Ofcourse there's allways exceptions to the rules. But it IS a good rule of thumb to memorize your hole cards and there suits everytime.

  • hmmm...sometimes i check my cards just because i forgot what i had and not for the reasons this guy is saying. so be careful, it doesn't always mean the same thing in all situations

  • and that means you don't have a pocket pair, cuz that would be easy to memorise

  • You forget your hole cards?

  • everyone does, every once in a while, esp. if you're playing alot of hands

  • Sorry, I posted the last comment on the wrong vid. X(

  • wat vid was it out of curiosity

  • Probably the video with Chris Ferguson

  • that's incredible how he can stay so constant with his motions no matter what he has. THAT is a big reason why he's a pro.

  • caro's pro poker tells!!!awesome.keep uploading,thanx
