They look good man! What did you use a single stage enamel? I don't know about California but Illinois stamped the year in there plates until 1979. Then the started using the stickers. Just thought if these have stickers they might not be that old.
@kustomCoupe30 thank you i used all surface enamel, oil based enamel from sherwin williams they matched the paint color and i used flat clear coat on that after the paint..for the letters and numbers i used rustoleum enamel and everything is stamped i had to hammer it all out
