you are so lucky! i have a metal detector, but it doesnt work well, and its at my grandparents house, which is in the desert-region of southern-cal, so i would never find anything.
Thanks for the comments everyone, Micheal the ring is about a $180 value, but I don't sell any of my finds, my wife wears this one occasionally...LaDigger
No silver in nickels unless they were made during the war years of 1942 through 1945. Anything else is normal. The Official Red Book lists them for about $1.00 each in decent non corroded condition.
just a question, how much are those silver nickels worth? I find them in my pocket change all the time. in fact right now I have a '41, '45, '46, and two '49's.
Hi Taylor, The nickels minted from 1942 thru 1945 were about 35% silver. The 1942D nickels are normal. Last time I checked the silver nickels were worth about $1.75 by silver content which can vary according to silver spot prices..If you have a very good specimen it may have some numismatic value above that.Any siver coin is fun to find , since they are always old and will not be made again...HH..Rich
Great video man!!I have a pioneer 202 from walmart i'm using right now. only used it for about 2 hours. I'm ordering a m6 next week. I look forward to the better detector. The pioneer has no depth!!
I love your videos. I also use an M6 and recently got the DX-1 probe. I had to get used to the extra weight the probe added on. It works very well and I'll never lose it! Keep up these videos.
Thanks Twistedd , I noticed a little weight increase with the DX1 probe on the middle shaft, but after a little while I forgot about it and didn't notice it much.I may try to move it to the control box in the future..It works good, I like it...HH...Rich

LaDigger nice video, Please note that the Sunray Probe can be used as a Motion or Non-Motion probe and can also be Detuned too.
By Just Fliping the Switch its a motion pinpointer
By just fliping the Swith & holding in the Pinpoint button it turns into a NO Motion pinpointer
you can also detune the pinpointer by doulbe clicking the pinpoint button & hold it down in the no motion mode
