My mom was 100% in good health. Physically and mentally. She went to a fruit loop phychiatrist and she prescibed her Geodon. Its a mistake that has about killed my mom. She now weighs 115 lbs and cant even drive. She is now has to be with a family member 24/7 because it has (destroyed her mind!)

Speaking of "results," Katie, try the "Ask de Blasio Why" Web site. This was investigated without access to the medical records that would reveal the fate of the CHILDREN used in the studies. Even then, they had to admit that 200 New York City children died.

Even the results of clinical drugs, where done, are not to be trusted. The pharmaceutical companies are (and always have been) up to their necks in fraud and the payoffs to politicians have in effect created the greatest genocide in world history, at the same time flying the flag of philanthropy. Every little report like this is in the right direction. People need to hear it repeated in different ways, different short/long version. I'm glad she said at least this much. THe bigger news is there are tremendous good results with ayurvedic medicine around reversing and preventing the "mood disorders" for which antidepressants are used as well as the issues around the other drug mentioned.

They need to do the WHOLE story on each drug, make it a nightly thing and keep it on their web sight forever so people can see those of us who complaine have justified reason. and educate themselves as to what to watch out for.

We ARE being denied the RIGHT to make an informed decision as to how safe a drug is for our own bodies. This segment was so short and so general and offered NO real information!!

Katie Couric has such an important point, but this video is only one minute long. I expected to hear all of the alarming details about drug ineffectiveness, side effects, withdrawal effects, suicides, etc. SSRI anti-depressants are the most horrible thing to be invented since illegal weapons.  One day they will be considered street drugs, but of course enough people have to suffer until the drug companies actually take responsibility.
