@Vilemk0 It's NISA of course they will have japanese dialogue, NISA is not well known for having good dubs except the Disgaea series. But they publish some great under the radar games.

Ah finally, a really good looking JRPG for PS3. Been cravin' one for awhile now. The last one I played was Atelier Rorona, which was quite good actually, but I want a good story. This looks like it can deliver that.
@AdamantFlame What i know is Ar Ciel mean the planet they live in or what the planet is called. Qoga means Finale aka Final. Ar Tonelico is the town/city they live in. So if you put it to gather it sound like we live in a city of Ar Tonelico an its our Final Planet .... some shtz like that.

@akito989 Well in my opinion they sound good in english compared to the other english dub for jrpgs on the ps3. I really don't care if there is going to be a Japanese dub in the game, I will just keep it on the english track so I don't read subtitles all day for the cutscenes. @michael1791 Some of the dialogue in this game can sound really racy if taken out of context. The instance you point out is actually not sexual at all. The Reyvateils are artificial life forms, and some clothing can actually obstruct the interface on their bodies.
I may like anime, but these kinda of games are the kind that want to be cute and serious at the same time. It's like a hot blond lawyer in a bikini. It's just so ridiculous. But, I guess that's what people are still into these days. Music is great though. That's probably what brainwashes people into thinking it's an epic game.
@AntiGuardiian It's not just the music that's good, the story is good as well plus the gameplay. It pretty much has what it takes to be an epic series, but it's also for otaku and just people who play many other JRPGs.

@paskoxbox Considering the graphics used on the PS2 games, this is a major step. Plus niche titles don't really need to fully use PS3's graphics. Plus with being a niche company like Gust, they don't have the money to make it look like a true PS3 game. Most of the money is used on the voice acting and the few animated cutscenes, as well as the music since this game has a lot of voice acting because of so much text plus about a soundtrack that's about 3 hours from many different singers.

@akito989 Well in my opinion they sound good in english compared to the other english dub for jrpgs on the ps3. I really don't care if there is going to be a Japanese dub in the game, I will just keep it on the english track so I don't read subtitles all day for the cutscenes. I have to apologise for calling you all weaboos though it just that everytime somebody says they prefer the japanese dub is because they are obessed with Japan and take it to far.

@cickmore12 Because to them, Japanese dubs sound ten times better since in my opinion, they have the most experienced voice actors. Unlike Americans/Chinese/Malay's dub, every dubbed show you watch have like, the same voice acting it totally burns you. But I agree, Nis America's are better.

@akito989 Well I think that the english sounds better because it proffesionally done, not saying the japanese acting isn't. I also don't like japanese voice acting is because they all sound the same and to me voice acting is not just about emotion. In the english you can tell the difference in voice from the voice actor. I respect your opinion though. I would like to learn the japanese language for their culture and the way they speak and its not just because of the anime and jrpgs.

Not sure why everyone is saying the dub is bad for the most part it sounds pretty good. At least the VAing isn't Resident Evil bad. That's bad voice acting.

@michael1791 Some of the dialogue in this game can sound really racy if taken out of context. The instance you point out is actually not sexual at all. The Reyvateils are artificial life forms, and some clothing can actually obstruct the interface on their bodies.

I may like anime, but these kinda of games are the kind that want to be cute and serious at the same time. It's like a hot blond lawyer in a bikini. It's just so ridiculous. But, I guess that's what people are still into these days. Music is great though. That's probably what brainwashes people into thinking it's an epic game.

@AntiGuardiian It's not just the music that's good, the story is good as well plus the gameplay. It pretty much has what it takes to be an epic series, but it's also for otaku and just people who play many other JRPGs.

@paskoxbox Considering the graphics used on the PS2 games, this is a major step. Plus niche titles don't really need to fully use PS3's graphics. Plus with being a niche company like Gust, they don't have the money to make it look like a true PS3 game. Most of the money is used on the voice acting and the few animated cutscenes, as well as the music since this game has a lot of voice acting because of so much text plus about a soundtrack that's about 3 hours from many different singers.
