in any case, what is the purpose of these groups, to promote korean unity and spread love of the culture right? korea itself is already divided; there is no need to split it once more, especially when (as i see it) there is no true harm done.

The kid who posted the videos clarified that he didn't know any better, but maybe there is some fault on KISS' part if people didn't know they were even part of the event. Take a moment to think about that. Seeing how the KOREAN student groups at WashU have publicly humiliated each other, it wouldn't be surprising that those who are considering WashU decide to go elsewhere after seeing these comments.
Is this argument really necessary over a video on youtube? Seriously? I guess it boils down to recognition. Petty arguing over the fukin title of a video that someone uploaded; turns out the kid didn't know that it was a collaborative effort. Must KSA and KISS have beef every gawddamn year over trivial shiit? If recognition is what you want then why not try to fix the problem with civility and reason instead of making it a big deal because your so fukin 소심해.

note to poster: the wash u community would appreciate credit be given to all groups involved. if you are currently not part of the wash u community, please see that this whole effort has been to simply give deserved recognition to the time, energy, efforts, and heart the members of both groups have given.
the person who posted this video is most likely NOT an active member of either group to not be able to recognize that this event was made possible by the contributions of both groups and has been for the past few years.
having that said, the leaders and active members of both ksa and kiss should recognize and appreciate how much each group has contributed and worked for the success of this year's and past SOKs, which continues to be memorable.

I honestly don't think whoever posted this video meant to offend KISS or anybody from KISS. But even before that, why does this even matter? I mean we all know that exec and non-exec members from both KISS and KSA put a lot of time and hard effort into this, and a simple omission does nothing to disprove that. Not to mention we're all Koreans. =D

no you can't, cuz obviously (more than) half the ppl cooking the meat were from kiss also. maybe you can post video before me and say you hosted it. then i got nothing to say.

I'm really glad everything is cleared up now!
It is really discouraging to have some of the older and respected members of the student population speak and comment the way they did.
Proper recognition is due, no doubt. But unnecessary rivalry has got to go...
I hope both KISS and KSA continue collaborating with each other and putting on kickass events!
