Think so, too - let's be kind, not his best performance, seems he wanted to play faster than his fingers could on that eve - quite opposite to Niels-Henning's flawless playing.
One objection, though: The song is ridden to death through such an artistic performance - IMHO a half-tempo interlude would have been a nice relief and, certainly, more adequate to the theme.
