  • I've been a vegetarian for 8 years now, but I still have difficulties to loose weight. You look super healthy...and I would be interrested to try to follow the same diet as you. What would you recommend to do to start? I week of bananas and water?!! Can't wait to start this new diet... Hope to ear from you soon!:)

  • Dammmm ( Ew uglyyyy ) up close , not like a have a lot of room to talk but just saying.

  • I Don`t understand the Point here ? I eat Only Raw Organic Veg.! NO Cake Or Pizza etc. type thing`s, SO is th@ BAD ??

  • "Why I eat a low fat raw vegan diet?".Cause youre a bitch!

  • i think it's better with a balllance of both hot and cold food.

  • that is a big frog...sounds like a goose.

  • Hi Freelea. I'm 20 and I'm overwieght! I have so many health problems and I'm tried so many stupid fad diets. I need help. I want to be a better version of myself. What should I do and how should I start? Thanks :)

  • why one fruit for ten days, and why so much fruit 97% Do you get enough protien?

  • Booty call 04:43.

  • My associate has been following DietOramy diet program (encountered through Google) around two or three months now and she burned most of her body fat now - I'm attempting to talk her into fitness, but she is just loyal to her DietOramy...

  • Keep in mind that although there have been successful vegetarian societies (India) there has NEVER been a Vegan society because it is not a sustainable or a long-term healthy lifestyle. Raw fruits and vegetables are wonderful - in moderation - but a healthy body needs much more variety and nutrition than just fruits and vegetables can provide. Do NOT go vegan if you are thinking of getting pregnant, are pregnant or nursing. Never ever feed a newborn soy milk. A infant needs breast milk.

  • @jellyknees909 The raw vegan diet is not against natural breast feeding. If we think back into ancient societies who did not have fire to cook meat or boil legumes (which did exist for thousands of years) how could their infants survive if not in a "raw vegan" way? See there are a lot of associations with raw vegan, and, quite honestly, I am trying to discard the term "raw vegan" from my vocabulary because it gets in the way sometimes ....what do you think Freelea?

  • Hey,im a vegna for over ayear and my iron levels are below 0 even tough i eat more veggies than fruit,i eat a bag of spinach in one sitting yet my hair falls out and my nails peel and break :'( how do u keep ur iron levels????? please reply ! :/

  • @wolfsrain0000

eat some meat ya fuckin hippie

  • @wolfsrain0000 you need to make sure your vitamin C levels are high and that you combine Vit c with your greens. You will start to feel better and your iron levels will rise. Iron is hard to absorb without vitamin c. Please try don't give up on raw foods all problems can be answered.

  • @AdeleCorrenti im hanging in there,i have blueberries every morning, also drank lemon juice for 2 weeks,so like i ate so much spinach, green peppers broccoli, all kinds of fruit i didnt think i was deficient in anything....but my nails n hair r crappy...

  • @wolfsrain0000 SPIRULINA!!! You gotta have some of that ocean energy for the nails and hair! Try it! :)

  • @wolfsrain0000 Many vegetables contain oxalic acid which prevents you from absorbing some minerals like calcium, zinc and iron. That's why you need meat or at the very least, soaked nuts.

  • i have acne its not terrible but its kinda bad. my question is though is i am already a vegetarian and i am still living with my family ( hopefully moving to hawaii in a couple of years) and they eat meat and fast food, and i have tried to be vegan and even raw vegan, but how do i stay on track and stay away from steering back to becoming a vegetarian?

  • @2138red Used to have moderate acne. The second I reintroduced meat back into my diet, my acne and skin tone improved drastically. Once I cut gluten out it went away completely.

There's nothing wrong with meat and if you find me one study showing otherwise, I'll Paypal you $1000 bucks today, no questions asked. But the study must take into consideration PUFA/omega-6 content and also high-carbohydrate intake. Good luck.

  • @LuniaVideo What works for one person might or might not work for another person. I eat gluten foods and im fine. When i ate meats my acne was even WORSE. it was all over my body back, arms, legs face. Since i have switched to being vegetarian i no longer have acne on my arms, legs, and back. I still get some breakouts on my face, but its like a couple zits. Also when i ate meat i got very bad heartburn and nausea after i would eat. And yes that includes organic meats that i used to eat.

  • @LuniaVideo So go ahead and it your meat and not eat gluten foods it works for you, for me however it doesn't. I am planning to get rid of gluten foods also. Im on a juice fast right now and after im done im switching to raw vegan. Already i feel 100 times better then i did yesterday and today is only my first day. :)

  • this world is a mess of confusion, some say that in candida diet we can´t eat much fruit cause frui feeds candida...Robert Von Sarbacher says also that one can get rid of candida with beet juice=sugar..Interesting

  • So, do you ever eat whole wheat bread or oatmeal? Do you eat grain basically, or do you just eat nuts??? I'm really looking into trying this thing, but I need to understand if you just eat fruit. ^_^

  • Please explain your diet prior to the fruit diet... did you eat grains?

  • I've never heard of a diet like this and growing up on a dairy farm it would be total sin, haha. But don't listen to those giving you a hard time. I also know what it's like to deal with Candida-YUCK! Somehow I got through college & grad school with it, but then took a month of Diflucan while in med school to really get it under control. Even so, fruit was hard for me for a long time. So cool that you did it through diet only.I'm moving to a tropical area and I am keeping your insight in mind!

  • Major difference in your appearance now that i'm watching your newer videos. You look younger in your lastest vids.

  • The Restaurant business right now in America is BOOMING and super profitable, chains like Olive Garden, Fridays, Ruth Criss and other Steak houses, Red Lobster and seafood etc. are super expensive to eat at and Americans CANT get enough of their food, these places are crowded every day for WHAT?

  • @howcanilosefat Exactly. :D

  • does anyone know why the bananas were the chosen fruit for the first 10 days rather than another fruit?

  • @karmuppet bananas are generally considered a 'staple food' on LFRV because not only are they affordable but high calorie-dense compared to a lot of other fruits

  • @rawsomely thanks. that's probably it. i wasn't even thinking about the calorie aspect but if the bananas were a better fruit to deal with candida.should have asked that.. i just got a used copy of the 80-10-10 book and it said that eating a low fat diet would get rid of it. so bananas would work.low fat and cheap.69cents for organic where i live.

  • @rawsomely Because they have an assload more sugar than most fruit.

  • @LuniaVideo This is a concern to me long term with fruitarianism. Isn't it TOO much sugar? Where can i go to learn more about this? Thanks for your help! :)

  • Do you ever miss the old foods? I sometimes still get a craving when I see and smell them. It's hard to avoid as they're everywhere in society. But it's so worth it considering how much better I feel. I had a heavy meat and dairy consumer tell me the other day that they literally would rather die than give up all that pleasure in life. This is someone who lives on colitis medication, laxatives and Celexa antidepressant. I told him he'd experience a lot more pleasure if his body felt better.

  • @isabelzavoranu Nothing wrong with eating meat as long as you get grass-fed organic meat.

If you eat traditional meat, you're really eating grains because that's what they feed the animals.

  • @LuniaVideo If you factor in that nearly everything that is good for our bodies is burned away when you cook meat, it makes no sense. The only thing you are getting is taste. And, that taste isnt even the meat because you usually put a bunch of spices and sauces on it. I remember when I ate meat i could never just eat it by itself...always with something on the side or put in it. But like a real organic apple just sounds so good! You are getting so much more raw then you are cooked.

  • those frogs sound like ducks

  • I am 13 and going raw is this gonna help my health in the future?

  • @TheBabygirl5000 Deffently. Fruit and veg stores are your best friend. If your craving chocolate or something sweet. Dates are natures candybar. Hope you stick at it(; have fun

  • @nextinline777 Veganism/Vegetarianism rules. Eating meat is primitive? Thats what this video says. Check it out! /watch?v=aS5CpSXDULM

  • @TheBabygirl5000 If you go VEGAN, say bye to your boobs and you won't grow anymore. If you eat raw foods regularly such as raw veggies/mushrooms/what have you, that's great. Everyone should incorporate raw foods into their diet.

You can eat raw and eat healthy or you can eat raw vegan (which is not healthy.)

  • I have the same stomach problems and I am addicted to sugary foods. I am trying the raw vegan diet and I realize that I'm not eating enough fruit. One crate of oranges isn't enough for an entire week along with 3 peppers and a few carrots. I'm almost tempted to throw away all the packaged food in my dorm room and start over again. I still can't seem to part from crackers/cookies but I feel like crap afterwards is just not worth the stomach pain.

  • So what about the fat in Coconut. That's a fruit too. Don't you need essential fatty acids like Omega 3?

Plus I had real bad Candida in 2007 same time as you. It was in my throat, gave me tonsilitis for almost one a half years, chronic fatigue for ten months where I can't even go for an exercise walk. I still actually have abit of it, but have been suppressing it well with a no sucrose diet, cause that's the sugar that it feeds off.

  • @germanicelt Yes all fruits and greens contain ALL essential fatty acids in the right ratios for humans. I cured my systemic candida problems within a few WEEKS max on this lifestyle. Its all about having too much fat in our blood stream, it coats insulin receptor sites and stops sugar getting to the cell. With too much sugar in the blood (from the excess fat) candida begins to mushroom out of control. TAKE OUT THE FAT.

  • You should wear sunglasses because it's too hard to pay attention to your mouth when you have eyes so beautiful! :)

  • @tusepagliacco I'm going to throw up now.

  • @germanicelt You're on the wrong diet then ;) smooches

  • your super fine

  • I love all the comments saying Freelea is wrong. I got news for ya folks, she's on the right path! We've been brainwashed for far too long telling us "what's healthy." Open your eyes & take the time to get educated on this topic before blabbing how important proteins, grains, fats etc. Once you eliminate your ego on what you "think" you know...you'll understand the true meaning of food & health. Check out "RobertMorseND" on youtube. You're world is about to get flipped upside down....

  • @Hollywood103 I did what you said, and checked out that doctor. He's really good and has given me the conviction to go on a fresh juice fast, and raw feasts, in order to heal my feet.

  • @Hollywood103 Thank you! Words of truth.

  • you idiot low fat diet makes you fatter. its been proven

  • @li3mle oh yeah, by who? by someone who sells 50$ books about a nutrient and then starts selling the "nutrient" in the form of supplements?

  • You went to a raw diet because you can afford it. Bottom line. In the western world, diet is largely a function of income. The higher your income, the better your diet is likely to be. This is born out by demographic statistics from all over the developed world. This along with health care, is why people with higher incomes also have longer lifespans. If your opinion, differs from the facts, tough shit.

  • @gurumagoo I'm eating fruit buddy! It can be the cheapest diet on the planet.

  • @Freelea No it can't. In order to have balanced nutrition on a raw vegan diet it is necessary to eat exotic imported fruits that are almost never produced domestically. Fresh produce of any kind is quite expensive compared with other supermarket items.

  • fructose is bad for your liver

  • I hate to sound mean but if you just keep eating just fruit and no protien like not even fish and eggs. You will get dimenta. And I only say this from a loving heart I am a raw foodist so I know about the weight loss but no protien means alot of issues down the line including dental.

  • @puffyclouddd1 Thanks but that's incorrect. You don't understand basic physiology so I'm sticking with the research from Dr McDougall, Dr Ornish, Dr Barnard.

  • There's raw chocolate? Aren't raw cocoa beans poison?

  • @rpmangin well they are classified as a neurotoxin for the human brain so I would say yes you are correct!

  • @Freelea I've heard raw cocoa tastes like @$#@ anyway, and the only reason chocolate is palatable to humans is because, like many processed foods, it's loaded with sugar and fat.

  • @rpmangin Yep spot on and bitter as heck. Not a food at all.

  • Oh hai! Have you considered intellectus 424 diet (search on google)? Ive heard some extraordinary things about it and my father lost crazy amounts of weight with it.

  • VEGAN, CHECK THIS OUT:

    youtube.com/watch?v=HJptdt9HcSA

  • Those aren't Frogs!! Those are ducks!!

  • So im looking for a new way to get healthy and ofcorse lose some weight! Been doing some reserches about diets and came across raw vegan diet and im very interested in it! So far u my faveorit;)! But i have a question, the health benefits are defenatly a priority in the diet But eating only bananas(high in sugar), did u loose any weight in 10 days? I know tho u sad u lost 40 pounds n u have been on this life style for 4.5 years......it takes that long?

sorry 4 the spelling, still learning ENG

  • Freelea and DR are crooks praying on ignorance to live a life of luxury.

I've seen this before: the good cop,bad cop couple.

They accept donations from dying people and then spend the money on traveling and $70 smoothies!

SPREAD THE MESSAGE OF THEIR CORRUPTION!!!

  • @Guesticle lol if you think sleeping on park benches is luxury then join us. Thanks for the first laugh of the day Testicle, um I mean Guesticle.

  • @Freelea Why would you sleep on a bench? The ground is more comfortable... it leaves more room for you two lovebirds to fool around.

Nobody wants to harbor a crook; you should be happy you have a place at all.

  • @Guesticle Take a hike weirdo.

  • @Guesticle It sounded like an honest story she shared. It was helpful to me and I appreciated it. I don't remember her asking for any money. If you don't like what she has to say............just click off!

  • Do you remember how much weight u lost eating bananas for ten days?

  • @iheartmyfriends15 not much at all, weight loss must be a gradual process and 10 days is only the tip of the iceberg

  • This is a really fantastic video. Thank you!

    Also you are gorgeous!

  • GOOD VIDEO

  • You only ate bananas all day every day for 10 days? Around how many a day?

  • @cheldots around 25-30 a day

  • @Freelea i cant afford 25-30 a day o.o

  • Hey there! Have you thought about intellectus 424 diet (just google it)? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cousin lost tons of weight with it.

  • So u inspired me to become a raw vegan:) I'm only 15 and its going to b hard but i can always cum watch ur videos to keep me going. Did this diet really cure ur acne bcuz I hav alot of pimples but people say it has nothing to so with what you eat?

  • @dcr2725 I started raw foods and within a few days my skin started getting better. Make sure to cut out as much salt as possible too, and yes, this diet will cure acne

  • @dcr2725 " I hav alot of pimples but people say it has nothing to so with what you eat?"

Actually acne has a lot to do with what you eat. Excess fats and oils in the skin are the primary source of acne, and these lipids come from your food. Hormones also play a part, which is why it is so common in teens.

At 15 to become a raw Vegan requires a lot of support from your parents. Be sure you have their support so you don't harm yourself. Even starting today you can stop junk foods.

  • @dcr2725 Yes absofruitly it will clear your skin BUT only if you are consistent and treat this lifestyle like a lifestyle not a fad diet for a few months.

  • Continued: It is not perfect. I still must go to the market for some things. But I would bet that I have less impact on either animal or human suffering than 99% of anyone, including most Vegans. And that is without being required to do it by some ancient religious dogma.

  • @rosepetal108 Look, I know think youre doing the right thing. But youre doing the least wrong thing at best, which is still wrong. Now I don't want to push the torture angle anyway, I just do it to call out the hypocrites. If eating meat was healthy and I found it appitizing like I did in the past, I would be the first with steak knife! But this has less about you convincing me that you treat animals well; it has been, rather about you convining yourself you are lving rightly, at which you fail!

  • @FathomlessJoy ====> "rather about you convining yourself you are lving rightly, at which you fail!"

That was my point from the beginning. You are judging the morality and ethics of another person you don't even know based on your OWN religious dogma. There is nothing morally wrong with eating animal products UNLESS it is YOUR religion.

You have the right for religious freedom, but you don't have the right to say others are morally wrong just because they don't follow strict Vegan "ahimsa".

  • I deal with only those who want to know the truth, not twist it. I havent political, religious, financial agendas to tell those the truth about the torture and ill-health with eating animals. Im up front about that. If someone will not even be up front about their own diet - in a freaking diet discussion!! - then to heck wih them, I'll share the truth with others. Incidental bacteria dying does not equal animal torture, fool! If calling a fool a fool is a crime, quilty as charged, your honor!

  • @FathomlessJoy ==> "Incidental bacteria dying does not equal animal torture, fool!"

Don't strawman me. I never said that.

"If someone will not even be up front about their own diet - in a freaking diet discussion!!"

You never asked. But since it seems you brought the subject up. I primarily eat from my organic garden I grow myself. I trade veggies for eggs/meat from a neighbor who raises real free range chickens. Sometimes I eat fish I catch myself and meat gifted to me from hunter friends.

  • @rosepetal108 You certainly did: the bacteria in the sugar fermenting process, blah blah. Perhaps I misunderstood, but I like to keep it simple: animal products = unhealthy; fruits and veggies, beans and nut=healthy. Finally you revealed your bias! after trying to play both sides of the fence. I have nothing against you, but back when I drank and smoked I wasted a lot of money of vitamins; get my point? Take it from someone who has shot and skinned his own deer and elk: youre not eating healthy!

  • @FathomlessJoy ==> "You certainly did: the bacteria in the sugar fermenting process, "

Nope I did not. I said the cane fields are burned, killing billions of small mammals, reptiles and insects annually. Sugar is ok because it comes from a plant, but Vegans are not allowed honey which doesn't harm bees, is actually beneficial to both the environment and bees, and is needed to pollinate all those veggies we need to eat. Typical religious hypocrisy.

  • @rosepetal108 Comparing incidental death over a substance (sugar) I DON'T eat to the systemic torture of animals is a far cry from rational. I admitted I eat honey. We're square there, lots of vegans eat it, though fundamentalists tell us we're harming bees.... So bee it ;) Again, I haven't any religious affiliation; to say otherwise is a g-damn lie, madam! Now I apologize for being short with you. But for you to convince me of my shameful hypocracy (sugar) simply doesnt mean you eat rightly.

  • @FathomlessJoy Never the less, applying moral and ethical values to a vegetarian diet, and calling other people not ethically or morally right if they don't follow your (now known to be less than perfectly strict) religious dogma is exactly what you did. Over and over.

PS. The burnings and horrible deaths are not incidental in sugar cane production. In fact that is exactly why they burn the fields,.easiest way to kill rodents and snakes. The insects are incidental though.

  • @rosepetal108 There are right, healthy, caring, intelligent ways to live and wrong ways. I know you don't like that and deep in your heart you know the truth. But I cannot change it and each of us must face it. You have been shown the truth here today, now good day!

  • @FathomlessJoy =="deep in your heart you know the truth."

Yes I do and it does not include the Vegan religion. However you are entitled to your religious beliefs. I said that from the start.

  • @rosepetal108 And I guessed earlier, but now know; you, madam, are a filthy liar!

  • @FathomlessJoy lol failed at every argument and now decided to go back to your standard personal attacks. Not cool but pretty standard for fanatics.

You could learn something from the poster of this vid. I have seen many of her vids and comments. Not once did I ever hear or see her say one unkind thing, or resort to propaganda trying to make people feel guilty. All she does is help people who are trying to change their diet.

Yep, you could learn a LOT from her.

  • @rosepetal108 I wish you the least suffering possible to see the truth. Now there is no more use for our exchanges here. I am a religious zealot, I admit it, because I eat as healthy as anyone can in this sinister, lying, unhealthy world. Guilty! Now buzz off! PLEASE!

  • @rosepetal108 LEAVE ME ALONE! Clear enough zealotry for ya? Don't answer that, leave me alone!

  • Look we are going in circles. I hope the free range, organic, feel-good-about-myself, don’t-give-into-the-NWO rotting flesh in your colon buys you a few extra healthy days in this life over the typical pick-it-up-in-the-market-with-head-up-ass flesh eater. But either way, you still have rotting animal flesh in your body, which is disgustingly unhealthy! Take care!

  • @FathomlessJoy ===>"rotting flesh in your colon"

LOL can't stop with the propaganda even now. Everything you eat "rots" in your digestive tract. That includes both Veggies and animal products. That is an important part of how the human body works. (or any other animal whether carnivore herbivore or Omnivore) It is called the natural flora and without it we all die.

    Remember, 1/2 truths are propaganda.

  • @FathomlessJoy If you prefer a different example than sugar, I can offer more.

The real truth is that BOTH veggies AND animal production in the west are insanely bad for the environment, bad for human health, and bad for animal welfare and suffering.

When I called you out on propaganda, I wasn't saying factory raised meat was good, I was saying all factory farming is bad, even factory farming of veggies. 1/2 truth = propaganda

  • @rosepetal108 I say that when you have rotting animal flesh in your belly, you have rotting flesh in your belly. How's that for a mother fucking nuance? Now I am going to watch Sleepless In Seatle. Take care and I hope the best for you!

  • That's rather rude to jump in call a bunch of rude names, then jump out and say quit bothering you. Do you treat everyone like that? Or only people you don't know on the internet?

  • Religious freaks with the "new age" argument....ever here it to put you down about your healthy diet and justify their own hatred treatment of animals as the pounds of flesh rot in their colons? Well, fellow vegans, you live long enough, you hear it all!

  • @Freelea Did veganism also make you gorgeous? ;) Anyway, great message! The ignorance in our food chain is astounding. I am vegan, about 50% raw. The more raw I eat, the better I feel, and the clearer I see how we have been lied to as to what is a healthy way to eat and live. Keep up the great work!

  • Thank you for your video! You are beautiful! What happened to your "inflamed gut?" Are you okay now?

  • it is a shame that western medicine does not mix up with the chinese medicine, which is much much much older than ours. Honestly, that just does not make sense.

  • All this proves is that you can have an unbalanced diet or a balanced diet, regardless of raw or cooked, vegetarian or balanced omnivore. Junk food is junk food even if it is Vegan junk food or even Raw Vegan junk food.

You still need to eat right no matter what "diet" you are on.

  • @rosepetal108 True, we all need to eat right. As I investigated more and more, wasted more precious time deciphering food labels and saw this rise in unexplained diseases and obesity, I got a clearer picture of what eating right is. Today I eat right from a health perspective (0 saturated fat, 0 LDL, etc) and I don't have to waste my time deciphering labels. Too I eat right in a value-of-life way - I don't torture and kill animals anymore. I learned that rotting flesh is junk food. Cheers.

  • @FathomlessJoy ===> "I don't torture and kill animals anymore."

Well that just sucks that you would be so heartless to torture animals in the first place. What made you be so mean to begin with? Did you beat your brothers and sisters too? Were you the school bully?

====> "I learned that rotting flesh is junk food."

Yuck, why anyone would eat rotten meat is beyond me. How did you get past the maggots? Junk food? that's just crazy. I think I'll stick to my potato chips when craving Junk food.

  • @rosepetal108 If we eat meat from stores today, we torture animals for food. This is the sad fact that most meat eaters do'nt want to face. Now if I pay someone to torture them for me, it may make me feel better about myself, but this is based on a psychological lie, not on reality. As for rotting, animal flesh and body parts begin rotting within minutes of slaughter. Within 2 hours, rigor mortis has set in. In 3+ weeks, by the time it's stuck in your gut, it's teeming with rot and parasites.

  • @rosepetal108 Are you trying to justify your own unhealthy, torturous behavior? Health and intelligent, right living are too important to me to waste that kind of time. Hit me up when you are interested in facts about eating rotting animal flesh. Thanks!

  • @FathomlessJoy ===> "Are you trying to justify your own unhealthy, torturous behavior? "

Why would I have to justify anything? You have no clue what I eat. I was just commenting on your obvious propaganda and hypocrisy.

===>"Health and intelligent, right living are too important"

    Agreed

===>"Hit me up when you are interested in facts"

Why would I ask for more propaganda and 1/2 truths from you? There are plenty of Vegan myths floating around the internet.

  • @FathomlessJoy continued:

If you want to eat Vegan and accept their moral ethical and religious beliefs, that is fine. By all means go for it. I am a strong advocate of religious freedom.

Just please be honest about it. No propaganda for fooling uneducated people. Meat rots but so do vegetables and fruits. Factory farms kill animals cruelly and are bad for the environment. But so do modern commercial plant farms. Sometimes they can be worse with all those pesticides harming whole ecosystems.

  • @rosepetal108 Thank you for the permission! So for as "religious beliefs", how childish of a cheap shot lie was that, huh?

Now propaganda, tell me how or why I need to promote propaganda about this? I don't profit a dime off what I say either way. That is a fact, dear. I haven't a agenda to push. Ive seen and heard lies from leaders my whole life - parents, teachers, politicians, corps. If I can shed a match light of truth for another it's my only reward. "Propaganda" from a torturer, please!

  • @FathomlessJoy ==>So for as "religious beliefs", how childish of a cheap shot lie was that, huh?"

What? You didn't know? That explains then why you are so quick to take a Self-righteous attitude with a stranger. You know your religious dietary restrictions and a small part of the ethics and morality behind it, but not really even aware you were indoctrinated in a new age religion. That explains a lot.

Maybe go read some back issues of "Ahimsa". That might help.

  • @rosepetal108 I have nothing to do with organized religion. You are insane and wanting to pick a fight, which is so very childish. I hope that you see the truth one day; until then, Goodbye!

  • @FathomlessJoy ==>" I hope that you see the truth one day"

Ever hear an evangelist say that?

Truth is that the main difference between a Vegan and a strict vegetarian is the ancient religious doctrine ahimsa, an important tenet of the Indian religions Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism. That is exactly why the American Vegan Society official publication was called "Ahimsa Magazine"

They at least didn't try to hide from themselves and others about the religious basis for Veganism.

  • @rosepetal108 This is a quite twisted and childish way to promote your own unhealthy, inhumane behavior. So, piss the F off! Ever hear an evangelist say that, child? <-- actually, I used another c word at first, but my kinder nature and benifit of the doubt kicked in. In any event, I'll leave you alone and I'll thank you for the same!

  • @FathomlessJoy You're right, I don't know. That is why I asked about the motivation for your justifications. You are pushing an agenda of ignorance, denial, ill health and torture. Usually people do not waste time with such lies unless 1) they profit off of it, or 2) they are in denial about their own behavior, or 3) both. Please tell me a single lie or half truth I have told, and back it up with evidence. I have the facts, so I'm bettin' on a sure thing!

  • At least you won't need to worry about Birth-Control on that diet ;-)

  • 1 banana for 10 days?

  • Comment removed

  • Lol the frogs!! :D

  • Freelea, I am new to the whole vegan movement. I am not vegan, far from it, but I have been researching diets for about a year and half now. You claim that the purpose of health is to lose weight. Although I agree the body mass index is a good indicator of health, I don't understand why fat is regarded as a negative thing by vegans. Your body needs a certain amount of fat. Your body perfers to burn fat over protein and carbs. Hence why try to eliminate fat from your diet?

  • @souldude81 Fat isn't held in contempt by vegans, at least this vegan! LOVE me some EV olive oil on salads, coconut oil on some homemade baked nachos, etc.... Fat is necesary for our bodies and cells. Now saturated fat, which is solid at room temp (thus can re-solidify in our bodies), and LDL cholesterol, those are horrible for the body, and those come from animal flesh. We shouldn't kid ourselves that since we slice off the white corners of that fat-ridden rotten flesh that our diet is healthy.

  • @FathomlessJoy True but there is little to no fat in most fruits, which is why I made the comment in the first place. We both know fat is crucial to a healthy body so good on you for being a healthy vegan.

  • @souldude81 Thanks! Tho confession: if it required will power or commitment and exceptional character, I wouldn't do it. I do it because of the way I feel, before, during and after eating. The food and life of a vegan is great! That said, I don't eat baked nachos with coco oil every night, not even once per week most times. As for fat in fruit/veggies, Likely she means low fat, not no fat, but I'll let her speak for herself - if her intellect is as sharp as her looks, she can field a Q or 2 ;)

  • thats a frog? wtf?

  • But freelee, I've heard that fruit can make you fit. Aren't you afraid of getting fit?

  • @peacewalker7 haha SO afraid! :D

  • Holy crap your hot

  • you only ate 1 fruit a day?

  • "the body can heal if you just get out of its way"... well put. is it a good idea to transition to raw veganism the way you did with bananas or would green/fruit smoothies be the way to go?

  • Wont all the fruit sugar and carby starch foods make my yeast infections in my lady bits and mouth get worse? I have a gut flora imbalance, so I cut sugars and it helped. I am worried fruit will make it worse. Candida and yeast infection is similar or not?

  • @babyisbad0 If you want to taste sweet, eat fruit and go vegan. Nobody likes eating fish. ;)

  • @durianriders We lesbians do.

  • Hi bud do i have to eat ant nuts, avacodos, oils on this diet. If not, where do we get the 10% fat bit.?. Much appreciation.

  • @MikeRapajic Thank you, I appreciate you for trying to help, but I have already took this drug and it messed me up real bad. Be careful, do not recomend this drug to anyone else, it gave me bad side effects. Why do you think I am finding other resourcesv such as this one???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • sounds like the frogs getting lucky

  • Your candida balanced with just fruit? are you sure that was really your health problem?

  • awesome!

  • I live with acne every day, and it's making me really sad. Sometimes I get painful cystic acne across my chin and below my cheeks. That is part of the reason why I am going on a raw food diet this year as soon as I get a job. I am so ready to clear my skin up.

  • @12blin Do it! I have seen everyone clear the skin long term on this lifestyle, I couldn't imagine why you would be any different.

  • @Freelea

it takes years though doesn't it? The only way to clear the skin and get rid of all the dead tissue fast is to go through water fasting for 7 to 8 days.

Then the problem after that is that you might develop anorexia or you could risk death if you do it that way. So I am out of luck, I am going to suffer not being clear skinned until 10 years from now, or I am going to have to go through fasting and risk death.

I don't know how to get around this. I have jock itch too. Life sucks :(

  • @Freelea

how long is "long term"? 3 months? 1 year? 5 years?

  • @CBasie2856 Long term for high fat raw vegan? I've never seen anyone last 100% 2months. That's long term when you're talking high fat raw.

  • @12blin my skin started getting better in one week when i started raw. Make sure to drink a lot of water (non-flouridated and non-chlorinated) and good luck :)

  • @foosbeast

what did you eat, a low fat raw vegan diet or high fat raw vegan diet?

  • @CBasie2856 I now eat a high carb raw vegan diet, have dabbled in high fat raw vegan, doesn't work long term. Check out my latest vids

  • Does anyone have PCOS?

  • freelee, so is it really so that if i eat fruit only i will get rid of my candida and get my guts clean?... (i ´ve been 90% raw vegan for 2 years, but still can´t give up some bad eating habbits and some/not much/ fat from nuts and seeds... i actually feel that the combining of sugar from fruit and fat from nuts ´n seeds keep my candida despite some other treatments i have undergone...) .. please answer, i need some feedback bcs there is noone around me to give me a logical and truthfull advise

  • @smoullinka You don't want to "get rid of your candida" because its a life-saving microbe, you just want to bring it back into balance. This is EASILY done on this lifestyle but you must follow it correctly. Buy the 80-10-10 Diet by Dr Doug Graham and follow the directions. Excess fat in the bloodstream prevents sugar entering the cell and ends up feeding your candida population for an unnatural length of time causing candida to mushroom out of control. Take out the excess fat and all better!

  • sounds like a duck quack in the background.

  • How's the bunk on the raw vegan diet?

  • How often do you brush your teeth eating like this? I want to be a living example, but feel my teeth sensitivity is holding me back slightly..what do you think?

  • @rawveganunistudent I only do twice a day with a soft-bristled vegan toothbrush, easy peasy, no teeth probs.

  • OMG!!! that is the same phone ring tone as mine.. i actually got up and went to the phone!!! lol.. soo freakky

  • Wow, so many views! You're a star! Thanks for sharing your experiences with us!

  • How many bananas did you eat a day when you did the 10 day mono fruit thing? & how do yuo know how much fruit to it in a day now?

  • Frogs in the background, how lovely! I live in NYC (starting to hate it), all I hear is cars and sirens. I wish to live close to nature with a huge organic garden on my own.

  • your beautiful!

  • I am in the same situation you use to be. Can you be so kind to guide me step by step on what you did. You mentioned you did a mono diet for 10 days of only bananas? is there anything else that you ate during the 10 days? Thank You for this video by the way, It brings so much hope to me :)

  • 10 days alone on an island with a lot of bananas hmmmm, sounds gooooodd
