Love the art of incorporating folks song into a modern melody. This is so beautiful...starting with Sanskrit > Latin (Gregorian) > Sanskrit>Mongolian wailing >English. MC is genius! Beautiful song...As you get older you lost your innocent and inner happiness, the most important thing that mother nature wants you to have. "But don't forget...Who's always our guide...It is the child in us"
Does anyone know what language do they sing this on ? It is so beautiful in this song, the intonation is similar to my native language which is Hungarian.
The video is not related to the audio. The vidoe is 'Sadness' from MCMXC album, whereas the song is Child in Us from Le Roi Est Mort Vive Le Roi. Song is a sanskrit slokah
its really great.. though i m a born hindu..but i believe in all religeon n god..as far as todays era is concerned, we all know from our experience that A MAN SHOULD BE SPIRITUAL rather than religious n of course this sanskrit shloka prayer from ancient indian literature rig veda give a feeling of peace,calmness,energy.. thanks to uploader for this!!
The Lady's voice starting at 00:29, is a Hindu (Indian) religious prayer, Enigma is great in combining things from different worlds and it feels really peacefull
From the first original posted video (now removed) I only learnesd that language of the singing lady is sanscrit, combined with some latin chants and finally Michael Cretu own's singing.
