Certain areas are the places like Bermuda triange, Devils triangle, and Loyalty triangle. Theres others just dont feel like naming them off.

I loved this opening, a lot. But I feel it could have been a bit better. I was watching the DVD behind the scenes an I caught a clip of a deleted part of this opening where Flynn was explaining how he and Tron defeated the MCP, and I feel they should have kept that. It would have tied the films together better.

I will be the first to say, when I first saw the opening, with the younger CGI Flynn, I was a little taken aback, ONLY BECAUSE I didn't know how well after this opening how he would look afterwards, but in some scenes, in which are amazing, you could hardly even realize it was a cgi model

mystic syncronicity moment.....a few days before i saw this film.....i got my black hole album out the loft to transfer it from vinyl to disc......and i did indeed get goose bumps when i saw this clip.........always the peace warrior........that I AM........hank you great spirit .......for the nod of acknowledgement.......time for a double mocca chocca , or maybe a snickers bar or some pringles

The most beautiful aspect to this entire movie is the relationship between Sam and his father. Sam idolizes him...you can see it in his eyes. Flynn persecutes himself in exile for decades because he feels he has failed his son. Then...reunion! Father sacrifices himself for the love of his child. I wish I had a father like that.

@whitliggett I agree. Their relationship is truly nothing short of beautiful. And props to Garrett Hedlund and Jeff Bridges for pulling of the relationship so well.

@whitliggett An excellent point. Although I was disappointed in the film's screenplay, dialogue and camera work, all of which felt very dumbed down a lot of the time - oh, the things they could have done, how excellent the film could have been - Sam and Flynn's relationship was very well done. I found it especially touching it when Flynn smiled at Sam and Quorra's shared chuckle aboard the Solar Sailer.
