i find this game more difficult than the previous total war games, the lines of men are really long, and you are always doing something. it's so stressfull in rome or medieval 2 games you are more relaxed playing the game. how do you do this, you are really all over the map :p

i Play as USA when i play online On this game, I use Mainly Skirmishers (I forgot the name) But They are Epic the USA's Long range rifle men are by far the best on the game i use about 8 as they can usual Destroy Advancing Line Infantry, I use a Couple of Line Infantry not mutch as the skirmishers do most my work, And A couple of Dragoons, and that army Almost always works for me as My partner uses a similar army and its Raaaapppeeeeee

Especially the US skirmishers- they're decent, if only because their hiding technique thing. Give me a handful of Austrian jaggers instead. Much more rewarding to take said list down with a "weak" army, with no OP units.

The dude your'e playing made a shit ton of mistakes. First he fucking wasted his calvalry from the very beginning Second he didn't take advantage of the giant ass hill that was right next to him. Third, he fucking wasted his swordsmen or w.e thier called. He left them standing in the open to take fire. Im pretty sure i saw a forest behind him too, so fourth he didn't take advantage of hiding his troops. You're playing was solid. A few things i would done diff. But solid.

There's a reason why I try to use mortars instead of cannons... Though if the terrain permits me, I normally try to keep my exposed cannons behind my infantry lines, perched up on a hill so they can shoot over their heads; which is what armies have done historically. The only thing I don't really like about this game is the fact that the U.S. militia look so much like an actual army unit. I'm willing to bet my life that they looked nothing like they're depicted in the game.
