Astronauts are supermen mate but you can't deny that the Royal Marines are not extremely physically and mentally fit!

The SBS are probably fitter than astronauts anyway!

but as astronaut you have to be very fit (think of the G-forces) and you have to have a scientific degree, ideally in physics or chemistry. they know how to use pencil and sword more than anyone else i guess, if you know what i mean. and often astronauts served in the armed forces, like john glenn (USMC).

truth is, USMC pride or patriotism don't protect them bullets. Nothing but ego fuelled meat shields that shoot and don't think.

As for the real (UK) Marines, they do the job, don't kick up a fuss, and go line up for the next one. Its just a job to them.

Yes you can as long as you have a Canadian passport. Any citizen from a commenwealth can join the British army/marines. Not sure about RAF or RN.
