The time with Jerry Fisher was a great time musically for BS&T, but too many people connected them with David Clayton-Thomas, which was unfortunate. "New Blood" and "No Sweat" are both great albums, but this is essentially a rework of the DC-T vesion's arrangement
I agree with jogga, this is not the jazz BST sound i knew. this is straight up and down, sounds like country not BST i know. Yeah, David Clayton Thomas made the sound in the late 60's early 70;s that i knew.
It's one child born to carry on.Which means one child in the world.Hey, person complaining about the over population of the world.why doesn't someone get rid of you, and help the over population?????

The dude playing the harmonica is awesome! To me, this was the best part. The horns weren't too bad and the bluesy singer. I like this song, have for over 30 years.
deegq is probably correct. More like 4 more born to carry on and populate an already over populated world. Thanks for the video whatiship73.

love the harp....YOU ROCK...... Got a E harp and this song just played itself...had heard it from the Big Chill Album....This harp player is awesome... Cheers..
Jerry Fisher is very talented, capable, and entertaining. BS and T should have done what the Beatles did when Paul was killed and had to leave the group. They should have had Jerry cut his hair and dress like Clayton, and tell everyone he's really Clayton. That way people would have like Fisher more.
@timandrew1 All right, you have our attention. What sort of attitude? I've heard his return to BS&T in 1975 caused a lot of personal issues within the group and led to quite a few departures.
i love the clumsy shambling genius that was Blood Sweat and Tears. No one could attempt to pull that off now. Blood Sweat and Tears often JUST walked the right side of the 'shambling' line at times; occasionally crossing over onto the wrong side, lol---but anyone else trying that level of sophistication with all that brass n everything in harmony'd make a right dog's dinner of it
HAhah i have their martin acoustic my dad knew the manager and bought the guitar for $500 considering the same modle is $2300 It's really old and the pic guard fell off.
Jerry is a really good singer, I love the music but Thomas was a rude SOB when we met him...the new Blood, Sweat and Tears singer is fabulous and really nice....

Actually, Jerry Fisher was a very good singer. He just doesn't fit well into a song that we're used to hearing David Clayton-Thomas do. I used to hear him often at his club in Bay St. Louis, called Dock of the Bay--blown away by Hurricane Katrina. Very good shows.
