The pain body is surprised! The true self detects the ego, then the pain body grabs hold of these thoughts or behaviors and says, "Oh no, how terrible, the ego is back," when to detect the ego is to be aware of the ego, and the only one or thing that can be aware of the ego is the true self. Awareness of the pain body might be what this lady needs.
@No3Patriot . I think that without the ego, personality would exist, but in the form of perspective only, which, when juxtaposed to other perspectives, offer a ubiquitous truth. Since everyone's perspective is different (but all perspectives being only various elements of the same thing under observation) the perspective will remain individual, therefore personality will remain intact, but less hungry.
He was asked about smoking marijuana.. . he USED to, he is Jamaican you know..
He said it is not a good practise, it keeps you from your Being your true self. He does not recommend nor believe in using anything like that of any kind.
always the same questions in ll satsangs.they are surprised the "ego "comes back.its just a phenonnena that springs from the self , a devine phenonena. it has to be ther to be a human and its not an obstacle
OMG , theres nothing at all! just nothing but pure love! ive never thought that its could be so so so simple and at the same time so complicate, 4 us living in our world! bur its true , that true we are all searchin for, but not every1 can see it, no just see , but feel it feel that its the only truth that can exist !!! funny ...
Once you realize the ego is a mirage...the appearance is no longer a problem. We don't grab sticks and beat at shadows...why beat at this mirage? It no longer causes problems because now you realize it is a mirage...no need to try to be rid of the appearance. It has its place.
Love how Mooji is directly relating from the Source-it works through him in a pure sense. Mooji clarifies and educates in the most humble and human manner that has lasting wisdom.
Mooji reminds me of my favorite physics professor. The principles the teacher explained would always appear very easy to understand because he was a great communicator. But not all students were able to use those simple principles to solve the problems they had to attempt. Of course, those who were not able to solve the problems, would also find the solution to be obvious after they are exposed to it (the solution). Mooji has a sharp tool, his mind.
Did you know that the term "Guru" pertaining to a teacher of great wisdom is the official priestly designation in the Sikh religion?
For example, in one tradition a teacher may be known as a Swami. In another, he'd be known as Guru. And yet another he'd be known as Abbot, or possibly even Sifu or Sensei.
