When I first did this, I didn't know about the star chips or anything, and thought that you just had to regularly jump from one body of water to the water.

I actually managed to do it (it really worked), but it took me quite a while though.. D:

when i did this one i dint read the sign your supposed to get a gold koopa sheel and i thought you can use the koopa in front of the chest.because if you had too that would be the eaisest star in the game.

here is a very helpful tip:

scared of that huge jellyfish?just hit it 2 times with a shell.if you hit it the first time,it should be flashing yellow when you see it again

another tip: if u dont have the shell and lost it you can go u the egde and wall jump up instead of gettin the shards

This one was pretty fun!But when I first started,I never saw any boos so when I came back with the Golden Shell,I thought they just appeared when you pick up the Shell! :D

I haven't checked it out yet, so as far as I know the shell does make them appear.

Once you go in, the boos multiply (even if you haven't picked up the golden shell)

im glad other ppl know that shortcut as well. although i didnt know u could make the boos vanish with the gold shell

I figure it was the headlight on the shell. Green/REd shells may be able to do it too, I just never happened to sweep one of the few Boos there when you first dive in.
