  • its amazing how much cameras have evolved

  • I have a sterling studio camera. the early stuff is awesome. the case is mahoghany with hand cut dovetails.they don't do that anymore!

  • Awesome and a lot of fun.

  • Television Cameras used to be the size of the kitchen stove can You Imagine Uncle Steve coming over for the Holidays & setting up a Camera and Everyone gets angry because They trip over the tripod legs trying to get passed the Camera when now days there are pocket HD Camcorders.

  • i dont know if my previous comment got posted..but i think the 'mystery' camera might be a Kinamo, ICA AG Kinamo or Zeiss Icon Kinamo N25

  • My guess is that it was the Zeiss Icon Kinamo N25.

  • Nice video, Kerry

  • this is the original "How its Made" / "antiques show" Pioneer!

  • i deeply admire teddy roosivelt and never in all my years have heard his voise i am in shock!!!!!

  • huh, say what?

  • Kerry, these shows are very good. Did you ever have any idea of your audience, your ratings?

  • Not really. At the time, people would stop me at the Mall and say HI. I did get a number of letters in the mail (back then). I've gotten a lot of comments here from all over the world...its great!

  • Hi Kerry,

It's always a great pleasure to see your posts.

The DeVry camera you are showing here could be seen on a 1931 ad (I can't copy the link because of YouTube policy)

At this time, it cost $150 (!!!) to buy such marvel.

Many Thanks for your job !

  • Thanks! I'm not too surprised to see it among the 1930s cameras. Back then, I rarely paid more than $25US for cameras.
