  • We can give him this one for all the pleasure he has given us,yes

  • @princeofswine well said - and he keeps on giving. He is the most outstanding trouper of the music industry - no one comes close.

  • That was Elvis achieving enlightenment!

  • ELVIS IS THE KING EVEN HE WAS STRUNG OUT OR WHATEVER...!!!!!

  • No one talks Bad about the King! There was only one Elvia Aaron Presley!

  • Great Man!!!! Thank you for the music. You made the music!!!

  • Watch his earlier goofing off and you'll see he's always played around with his songs words and made fun of himself on stage. That's why he recovers suddenly and sings it right on. He was just messing around. Not saying he wasn't on drugs, everyone know he was. Just saying he messed around with songs all the time. He was bored with being Elvis. That's also well known.

  • Yeah, how many ppl get up and sing in front of an audience when they are sick? Not too many I know of. The bitter losers in here will never attain half of what he did in his life. Let them half their caustic comments - that's the only talent they have. Elvis' fans are light years away from these miserable idiots. We wouldn't know they existed if it wasn't for FB - Elvis' talent is known world-wide without MTV, FB or anything else - so misery is their only talent.

  • @RichardElden you sir are a total loser, fuck off!

  • So is it fair to say that if, Elvis and Priscilla had stayed together through all of this, Elvis might still be with us today? What's ur thoughts?

  • Judge him by what he has left us, he was flesh and fucking blood that's it...

  • Under Graceland lie the bones of Rock n Roll, they're in the garden of the place, that he called home.

  • this should be a PSA for peanut allergies

  • Shocking, absoloutley disgusting use of a person for financial gain, enough to make you cry.

  • I think he was high...?

  • very sad!

  • this is very sad

  • this man was the king of rocking roll in no one will never beast him aw the people say glad hes dead they hate them thats cause they dont know whats real music god live the king

  • As an Elvis fan I find this hard to watch as he clearly wasn't really well enough to be performing at the time. I admire his courage and his dedication to his music and his fans. Sadly there are a lot of ignorant on here people poking fun and making comments such as "fat and ugly" etc - how sad and shallow you must be. Elvis in is prime was a very handsome man that's undeniable, good looks aside he was and always will be an icon in music that is a fact.

  • Elvis only signed up to give us his talent -- which he did, plus tax. I have never heard a conversation from Elvis asking us to critique his life or asking for anyone to fix it. The public is too invasive into celebrity's life. Ponder this: Let he who is without sin cast the first stone. I am tired of these self-righteous, mean-spirited people who have lots of baggage of their own but make themselves feel better by criticizing others.

  • plus tax!

  • THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL FOREVER.

  • Thanks, snookerjam. We don't know the toll this lifestyle took on Elvis' phsiche, physically or emotionally. We ALL have problems and issues to deal with - some cope better than others. These no-name brands will never walk a mile in his shoes, the best act they have is criticism of someone who rose from extreme poverty to be an amazing talent and a fine human being. We don't know what they do behind closed doors - hmmmm?

  • that's discusting! How many drugs did he take that night? Forgeting words and all - I would as for a refund! O, my.... he's so ugly and fat! Look at him drool! yaaaak. Refunds please!

  • @MsMirela77 He's still better than JLO in that condition

  • he is just goofing off people. he still is the best in the world and beautiful.

  • life is crazy

  • Lets quit with the bad words, you know what I mean!!!!!!!!!!!!

Elvis will always be the King

    Rat62 thanks you

  • this is so sad to watch!!!!! why in the world would they let elvis go on stage like that!! the people around him sure didnt care for him!!!! it was all about the money!!!! shame on them!!!!

  • The fact is Elvis lived life the way he wanted. Losers that say he was a fraud, or glad he is dead probably couldn't recognize talent if it hit them in the face. This man was a caring, lovable, genuine, talented human being., and an enjoyable human being. We don't know what personal mental issues he dealt with. God is the only one who judges. So the negative comments and opinions from these pin heads, in the end, don't really matter. They are only a legend in their own mind.

  • @jazzyjane2 well said my freind!!

  • @jazzyjane2 I couldn't agree with u more. The sad reality is is that there's just people in this world don't care what they say about others. It's just jealousy, enviousness, or just right down heartless. I remember in the Elvis movie w/ Kurt Russell where he auditioned for the Opry in Nashville,TN. That guy back then told a young Elvis he should go back to truck driving. It was @ first a let down, prejudice, bigotry, But Elvis bit the bullet and still conquered. I admire Elvis.

  • @MrBionicman Thanks, MrBionicman - these no-names talk like they knew him personally, which I adamantly doubt. They would never be able to keep the pace, take the criticism, have the talent, the work ethic that Elvis had. Elvis never talked about people nagitively, very polite, very generous. Right off the cuff, they don't have any class and are just miserable FB bitchers - nothing to take seriously, and they remain unknown. Maybe they're just constipated.

  • @TheBlueeyes2216 Don’t assume with your bias … what if your 24/7 state social program of blur falls apart. Right? Nixon was a great president, Oswald did it, and Osama Bin Laden still is happy in his cave. “How do you assume he is on drugs” … good heavens.

  • Not out of it.

Elvis did this at almost every performance of this song. He was a funny guy and liked to make people laugh.

  • He was KING. That is true. In his later years while his voice was still superb, his appearance was a joke. Drunk or heavily medicated/drugs. What a shame. I don't think his last year or two tarnished his career but, it sure is a sad ending.

  • Elvis had a severely impacted colon from many years of painkiller abuse. His colon was twice the size of what it should have been.He was not fat, he was bloated from his huge colon. He also had arthritis from all the years of performing, he also had glacoma. He had many many problems towards the end of his life and he used pills to try to make it through. They didnt know what pills could do to you like we know now. I feel for him. God bless you Elvis wherever you are.I hope to meet you one day!!

  • @fishaman1980 I FEEL FOR HIM TOO, I GET ANGRY SOMETIMES BECAUSE WITH SO MANY AROUND & I CAN TELL SOMETHING WAS SERIOUSLY WRONG I KNOW HIS FRIENDS HAD TO NOTICE SOMETHING. AT THE END YOU COULDN`T UNDERSTAND ONE WORD IN SOME SONGS HE SANG. HE WAS ALSO SO YOUNG, YOUNGER THAN MYSELF. I`M GLAD I READ YOUR COMMENT. I NOW KNOW I`M NOT ALONE IN MY SYMPATHY FOR THE KING OF ROCK & ROLL. CHECK OUT VIDEOS LISA MADE OF HERSELF & ELVIS.

  • he's so fucked up

    haaaaaaaa

  • I think he was a man with a terrible addiction, and his manager(who pretty much ran his life at this point) was content to let him continue with it. I am an Elvis fan thrugh and thrugh, and I'll never change that. but I also know what a (sickness) it is to be addicted to something like that, be it drug, alcohol whatever. I hope he found peace in the after life, if there is one. God bless you Elvis where ever you are!!!

  • If you believe he faked his death, this is genius. The way he said the world is a stage and each of us play a part, hmm he may have been playing this role to set up his faked death. The role of a drugged out burn out

  • @kdj997 You're a burn out without the drugs.

  • ..God bless that sweet man -that is so sad He is so loved and still his bodys' workin against him / Ive never had a loved one to alter their self preserve -but the domino effect must have been tricky and evasive - looks like things were slowing down and getting backed up - I did have a Mom that refused to seek counsel for her fears and it worked against her even though she took good care of her body was quick to fall apart in the end if the spirit is restrained from its best.E put out too much

  • I will always love him

  • ock everyone was poppping something back then

Elvis is just being in with the in crowd of back then lol

  • dont care what anyone thinks he was and is the king rip

  • Oh this breaks my heart when watching it. He was so very sick here, so full of painkillers that he couldn´t talk properly, but still he didn´t want stay away from performing and letting his fans down, God Bless his beautiful soul!

    Maggan

  • anyone who thinks he was high, doesnt know elvis , this was just him performing, he was being funny,,,,relax on the high shit people...

  • I was there that night, we hugged and new ! He is at home with his mom now, and still lives on in our hearts as we do his ! God Bless us all, (from Elvis)

  • @MrDoc501 it makes my cry when watching this clip, how could this all happen with all the people that said they were his friends and taking care of him. . . .shame on them all

  • it was probably his massive shit tickling the inside of his stomach. fucking smackhead.

  • @bakerstray God are you mediocre. . . .Elvis was one of the biggest vocalists there ever was and will ever be and you have nothing better to say. . . .the man is dead for over 30 years. . . .have some respect please. .shame on you

  • @bakerstray And I guess it is your pea size brain rattling around in your air head that makes you make comments like this. Nut - job. Like you're half the man he was - HA!

  • What people tend to forget that Elvis was an Entertainer. Instead of drug induced rant, maybe he was just having fun and making jokes. Has anyone ever got something funny stuck in your head and not be able to think about anything else?

  • It's a blessing to be able to laugh "with" yourself in this condition. IMO... the press and

the public make it very hard for our IDOLS to get help. They live their lives under a micro-

scope. Imagine if...U were living under that scope. What that would feel like. I mean it's

hard enough to admit U have a problem as it is and yes I am talking from experience. I'm

just glad he was at least having as much fun as possible. Much love to you my KING!! RIP

  • The last time I saw someone in that state he was dead within a year. Oh.

  • Sounds like he was having fun with it !

  • why didn't anyone step in to help him,he clearly had a drug problem?

  • @sullivan884 they were afraid... even his closet friends have said it was impossible to say "no" to elvis

  • @ Galarkongen tout tu te permet d'insulter un mort et elvis en plus tes qui pour blasphemais comme sa la memoire d'un mort respect ptn

  • @galarkongen Fuck dead Elvis, the greatest fraud ever!!!

  • Elvis is dead... Tks God!!!

  • if only elvis had had people around him who cared for him instead of people trying to make money from him he may well have been around to day i get so upset at what the hangers on done to this great man,my dan dans

  • Not Funny Just Too Sad

  • Comment removed

  • Everybody wants to blame Elvis inner circle for his drug problems. But the truth is he did it to himself nobody grabbed him and forced those pills down his throat.Harsh yes but reality it is.And yes he was sick.

  • just fat and high....nothin sick about him.

  • he seems happy in the end, the drug kicked in good i presume

  • @ronthedog82

You are just as sick as he was. The difference is that you're sick in the head!

  • @ronthedog82 I think you nailed it!

  • poor elvis, why did that the evil colonel parker do this to him?

  • It is so sad but he still sounded so good I so wish he had got some HELP Thank you to all the so called friends at the time

  • thats what drugs do to you, soo sad cause he was such a legend and still is !!! RIP ELVIS !!!!!

  • as his daughter sings so well ... '' They tried to make you look broken, but not while I'm living '' from ''Nobody Noticed''

  • Nicola188, thank you so much for your passionate comment. there'll never be anothe Elvis. He was sick but the show must go on. I just wish I had a copy of that concert. That was before I started video taping. He was and still is amazing and his voice will forever live on.

  • still beautiful!! and this was his last song of his last concert!

  • still beautiful!!

  • Elvis was dying at this point. Dont make stupid remarks of the largest superstar the world has seen.

Try to walk in Elvis` shoes. Fun the first days and months, but you feel alone and pressure of everybodys eyes are looking at you.

  • He sure meant to do that, why because that is Elvis The KING

  • you know that this is the clip that will get dragged out on every documentary to show how dramatic his decline was which is so unfair

But the reality is anyone of his professionalism and talent only go on stage and gabble if theyre on drugs - Elvis would NEVER have forgotten lyrics or gabbled lines normally

    Very sad

  • last yrs of his life was fat and ill coz he had cushing disease which lead to diabetes , hypertension, increase in body wt , depression any many symptoms :(

  • God Love Him

  • he forgot his lines and then acted silly - what's the big deal? like actors and performers don't do this all the freakin time!

  • Hey people, I know a lot of you think he's sick, or playing, or god knows what else, but he is INEBRIATED. Drugs and/or alcohol. Look at how he died. He's ****ed out of his mind.

  • @MasterToad223 I know a lot of people think that you are an ASSHOLE.

  • One thing i've always wondered whenever he cracked jokes on this song, its always ablout going bald.

  • @DerekBayRoberts1 maybe he had a wig

  • If he didn't have diabetes, he would probably be here, it's an awfull condition, not many people knew this about him, google it

  • @knutfheifer Diabetes is only an awful condition if you don't make some drastic lifestyle changes. By the time of his death the damage had already been done. He had been living on borrowed time for a while. He was amazing though even at the end.Check out "Unchained Melody" from a concert a few months prior to his death.

  • @martinljamcevski85 very true and i totally agree, he really was amazing to hold up on that amount of pressure

  • Very creative people live and think and act differently than everyone else. Yes he was probably high as a kit here but I think it's funny. To see the human side of someone with outstanding creativeity doing a very human thing does no where near the damage the models and actresses do. He was HUMAN!

  • he was playing.............. so change your headline!!!!!.......... If you knew the real ELVIS you would know this!

  • This should NOT even be on here! ...What's the damn purpose! Jackass!

  • Sorry but he was SHIT here.

  • He was always kidding around....but this was the start of the end for him....

  • In this video he forgot to words which is sad cuz of all the years he sang he forgot the words to one song to bad such a preatty song :( Long live the king Elvis

  • U can tell he is sick.....but who would of thought unto death...

  • there was a picture of ELVIS I saw in the autobiography book, it showed ELVIS lying down on stage in a concert, and it looked like he was singing on the floor. sometime around 1976, anyone know anything about that ?

  • i still get goosebumps when he starts singing here..

its hard to believe that the man bumbling on and obviously very sick and the man who starts singing afterwards are the same people :/ shows you how incredible he was!

    RIP Elvis <3

  • he did it for fun dude

  • very very sad.

  • Elvis great performer. No body rammed pills down him or made him eat unhealthy food. It was his choice to to those things.

  • This isn't the full video and if you saw the entire clip with the lead into this and the after part along with the interviews of people there you would know this was taken completely out of context by some that wanted to show him in a bad light and boost their own bs lies. It took on a life of it's own and it is now an urban legend of Evlis stoned in concert and that wasn't the case at all.

  • @TILibrary I believe you...Elvis was too profession...

  • Elvis was driven to death by Col Parker who didn't give a shit for his health and needed Elvis to perform when he was clearly unwell so he could pay his monumental gambling debts to the Mafia. Might be controversial - but I believe it was Elvis' appallingly unhealthy diet that contributed to his tragic death just as much - if not more - than drugs. Certainly the combination was pure poison.

  • I like his sence of humor,he still sings great, many of the rest of you don't have a clue. ELM

  • @ELMileyCBP He gave his personal best every time, even when he probably felt his worst!!!

  • Aaaaaa....ja, he is under medication...thung is under the mind....eeee....hands are mirror...what a medicine junky??????? Very sorry for this human beeing....very sorry

  • That's what peanut butter and bacon does to you!!! ELVIS has just walked out of the building!

  • To be honest he was a very sick man , his health was very bad. But at the same time he would laugh and joke and change words around in his songs all the time. The drugs he took were for health reasons and combined with what dentist gave him must of been to much for his heart. God Bless Elvis we miss you!

  • his voice never failed!!!!!!!!!

  • this makes me very sad!!!!

  • it makes me sad

  • I dont think he really forgot the words...maybe one or two and decided to goof around with it..he always done that sort of thing

  • &You know how when you're shit faced you feel like you're a comedian?

  • Dope, its fantastic...

  • I was listen a book from a Larry Geller ( Elvis best friend ) . In this book is a true about a his life

  • I was listen a book from a Larry Geller ( Elvis best friend ) . In this book is a true about a his life

  • Poor man! x The KING forever x And for anyone that disputes that fact, Elvis has sold over TWO BILLION records to date, the next 4 in the top 5 combined have yet to reak 1 1/2 billion! x

  • funny ;-)

  • He wasn't stoned, he forgot some of the words and was f/kn around that's all.

    Good stuff actually,, he ruled.

  • he looked like he was having a stroke!

  • Elvis is not sick here, dumbass! He's fuckin around with the song as he always has with this song.

  • That is so mean, why would you say that? Everyone has there problems.

  • watching these vids from the '77 concert makes me happy but it also breaks my heart....im a 27 yr old fan who has been a fan since i was 6 or 7Elvis was a special kind of person who touched countless lives, even those that are not of the Elvis generation and im proud to say im one of them.i sincerely hope he found the peace in death that he was so longing for in life.i dont think there is another singer/preformer that will forever touch our hearts quite like the King.

  • The silly boy wasn't ill he was just bombed right out of his mind!!

  • @jumpinggenerallee01 Thank you...you couldn't have said it any better.

  • Even though I'm not a fan this still makes me cry. :'( poor Elvis Rest in Peace .

  • He is missing Priscilla.....lol he was never the same after she left him for his best friend.

  • This is just heartbreaking. If only Elvis had gotten proper medical care...if only. May he be at peace now.

  • Sorry mate but there is a difference between this and fun. We all know that elvis had fun on the stage but this is not his way of fun.

  • hes not out of it hes just having fun come on even singers are people too

  • How sad would that be to stand in the crowd and watch your idle, someone you loved for most people it would break their heart to watch him try to disguise the fact he couldn't remember the words. Very sad.

  • Wow this almost makes me cry this didn't look like the "sexy" dancing elvis :(

  • i agree with TheSoandin

  • elvis is stupid michael is the best

  • prick

  • Elvis "messed up" the lines back in 1961! Did the same on stage in Vegas.

If he was so sick how did he stay in sync?

  • It's always sad when talented people have so much pain in their lives that they have to turn to drugs or pain killers just to get through the day. I wish somebody would've been there to stop those people from putting those medications in Elvis's and Michaels's bodies.

  • it makes me cry..he was and will alwaqys be the "KING"

  • it makes me cry..he was and will alwaqys be the "KING"

  • dam

  • if the doco's are correct i think it was the medications he was on, and yes i think he had to have fun with it to cover up that he was forgetting his words of the songs, its so sad, though i great legend of rock n roll will be sadly missed even though its been 33yrs since his death, long live the king!

  • He looked as if he was just having fun with it.

  • well obviously his sick, but that wasn't the reason why he sang this song that way. Elvis liked to change the lyrics and make fun of it.

  • elvispresley11. you are right, it wasn`t the reason he sang the song this way, we can go back years and see where Elvis fools around with words on quite a number of songs. He still stayed in tune and could still reach the high notes in other songs on the same concert.

  • Low blood sugar??? Cause he prob had diabetes +the pain killers... it is amazing that he made it as far as he did, but his music lives on into the 21st century and that is truly why an artist like The King did what he did... Can you imagine him having to deal w/ torrents or DRM & I-Tunes????

  • i dont think he meant to do this.

  • @cjm608 If you knew ELVIS he Loved having fun with his songs at times especially the love songs and balleds. You will notice he does not slur his speech and yes he did this just to have some fun making things interesting as he called it once. Hugs Bobbie

  • Come on, now. Elvis always turned this song into a kind of parody. Notice he stayed in sync.

  • por siempre sera el rey!!!

  • It's okay, Elvis got sick, he wasn't going to stay here forever. Elvis left us with unforgetable memories, fantastic voice, and his performances, with unic telent and ablities, and his beautiful face and smile.

  • @elvispedosucks on here again are you, you are sick, get a life, if you hate him so much, why are you spending your time posting, you just spent a minute of your miserable life hating, its pathetic and no doubt you will reap what you sow, Elvis was a decent man, and your lies will never change that fact, take a look at your own life, he did more for others in his life than you will in a 100 years, but from the sound of it, you don't give back anything but hate, try examining your own life fool.

  • Why are people comparing Elvis and MJ? No comparison. Elvis was normal. MJ..not so much. Like comaparing apples and oranges,

  • Elvis was normal...MJ not so much? Listn either of them ledperfect personal lives. Elvis definitely had his skeletons too, he just did a better job of keepin them in the closet than MJ. That however has nothing to do with the incredible music that both men left us. And they unofrtunately died way too young.

  • @Unbreakable1978 I think MJ was normal he just was just very misunderstood.

  • @ronrules777 But they both ruined their own lifes and talents. Don't get me wrong, I love Elvis!

  • @ronrules777 Well, Elvis WAS a white trash pedophile so there were differences.

  • @TheOnlyOneKingElvis LOL. And yet Elvis kept having sex with his mom at black churches in the South and murdered his twin for performing oral on Colonel Parker. He's only good at copying black music. Like Eminem, that's what white trash does.

  • @Ramonesaehs We take you out of the jungle, let you wear shoes and still you complain.

  • Comment removed

  • @Ramonesaehs Another stupid darkie. Elvis NEVER met Otis Blackwell. Can you get you get more gay than you, a wrestler lol

  • @TheOnlyOneKingElvis LOL You must give head to Fox News.

  • @TheOnlyOneKingElvis Because they weren't shoes, they were shackles. Know your history jackass. Elvis, like John Wayne and Ronald Reagan are the manifestation of white supremacist fantasies. And when you can't force others to go along with that, then you create Tea Parties and the Klan. The only thing more pathetic than your worshipping him is your ignorance. Like MJ Elvis had drug issues, but both had sex with underage kids. Priscilla was what 14 ? MJ HAD a big nose, but he cut for you.

  • @Ramonesaehs THULE RULES GET OVER IT

  • @TheOnlyOneKingElvis sounds like some kind of white supremacist chant out of the Turner Diaries. You and Elvis must have done crossburnings together. Or drugs. Remember Otis Blackwell bitch. There wouldn't be an Elvis without him or the black church. Trash like you can't deal with that. LOL !!! I feel better knowing MJ married and probably fucked Elvis' daughter. All this over a white trash pedophile mama's boy. With no original talent.

  • @TheOnlyOneKingElvis RIGHT ON! Finally somebody who gets it.

  • @ronrules777 Like comparing Apples to pop tarts.

  • @ronrules777

MJ had a diverent view on life he was normal we are the one's who are sick

  • I miss my mom.

  • i miss conservatives like elvis.
