His colon was twice the size of what it should have been.He was not fat, he was bloated from his huge colon.He also had arthritis from all the years of performing, he also had glacoma.He had many many problems towards the end of his life and he used pills to try to make it through. I think he was a man with a terrible addiction, and his manager(who pretty much ran his life at this point) was content to let him continue with it. the public make it very hard for our IDOLS to get help. They live their lives under a micro-

@knutfheifer Diabetes is only an awful condition if you don't make some drastic lifestyle changes. By the time of his death the damage had already been done. He had been living on borrowed time for a while. He was amazing though even at the end.Check out "Unchained Melody" from a concert a few months prior to his death.

This isn't the full video and if you saw the entire clip with the lead into this and the after part along with the interviews of people there you would know this was taken completely out of context by some that wanted to show him in a bad light and boost their own bs lies. It took on a life of it's own and it is now an urban legend of Evlis stoned in concert and that wasn't the case at all.

Elvis was driven to death by Col Parker who didn't give a shit for his health and needed Elvis to perform when he was clearly unwell so he could pay his monumental gambling debts to the Mafia. Might be controversial - but I believe it was Elvis' appallingly unhealthy diet that contributed to his tragic death just as much - if not more - than drugs. To be honest he was a very sick man , his health was very bad. But at the same time he would laugh and joke and change words around in his songs all the time. The drugs he took were for health reasons and combined with what dentist gave him must of been to much for his heart. God Bless Elvis we miss you!

watching these vids from the '77 concert makes me happy but it also breaks my heart....im a 27 yr old fan who has been a fan since i was 6 or 7Elvis was a special kind of person who touched countless lives,even those that are not of the Elvis generation and im proud to say im one of them.i sincerely hope he found the peace in death that he was so longing for in life.i dont think there is another singer/preformer that will forever touch our hearts quite like the King.
