This is really good but I like LaVern baker's best. Such a good arrangement. It is a lovely song, and supposedly the basis for the Shirelles Will You Love Me Tomorrow.
Beautiful romantic song, performed so tenderly and sincerely by Elvis... Maybe he wasn't yet spoilt by attention of women at the time and still free from bad habits?... ♫♪♫♪♫
Many thanks Kostas for sharing and thanks Jackie for posting this wonderful video!
Written by Sam Coslow and Will Grosz. Elvis recorded it at Sun Records on September 10, 1954 with only Scotty Moore on guitar as accompaniment. The original was not released until 1985 on the Reconsider Baby album. This version is available on The Sun Sessions and The King of Rock n Roll-The Complete 50s Masters
This is such a very tremendous and underrated song. I totally love the SUN Era. Elvis definitely had the greatest start to a singing career that the galaxy will ever have. Elvis has definitely made a bigger impact on the music industry than anyone will ever make. Elvis will always be #1. This video was absolutely perfect in every way, 10 Stars as always Jackie.
Elvis'"voice was like an instrument in itself. It was able to charm and sooth.

It's so much better than any of the RCA VIctor stuff. The Colonel ruined him.

Every year or so there's about a month spent listening to this song. Breathtaking. Beautiful.
