you really shouldn't be feeding more often than every 10-14 days.
and i can guarantee you that none of these boas is over 10 feet.
@1uhot426 it means when u feed a snake some have different diets depnding on the owners some feed the snake a big meal once a month and some feed there's a smaller amount any where's from 1 to 2 weeks and power feeding is when you give the a big porion in the smaller portion distance of time wich isnt good or healthy for the animal but alot of people do it around breeding season to get the bulked up ... :) that is power feeding ...
@xxtasha10xx i totally agree with what your saying regarding power feeding boas. i disagree too, but i wouldnt say all of them are power fed at all. my uncle and i keep redtails and my uncle has kept them for over 26 yrs. he had a female surinam specimen that was 12ft 3 ins when it died and she was 18yrs old. she wasnt power fed at all. she was fed 2 rabbits a month. u can see from 1 or 2 of these boas that they prob are power fed but peruvian and surinam redtails are just big anyway 11ft+
@sniperbrook Genes is a big factor in snakes because genes can make a big snake.Females are bigger too,you've got to take all of that into consideration.I have a female boa(1 year.3&half feet,common) she's very small for her age and the only factor I can think of is to why she is that small is because a previous owner wasn't feeding her properly.She would get fed every so many weeks,2 weeks minimum.I'm just going off common boas because I've never had a Redtail or a Peruvian before.

58 seconds in is a perfect example of a healthy redtail however 1.29 in and you can tell that boa is power fed. its way too thick for its length.

Most of these have been power fed to be that big.Not good on the owners part considering some of these are too big and fat.
