What do they say opinions are like? Anyway, I've also researched this topic (and experienced an elective abortion) and have become even stronger in the belief that pregnant women are the most qualified people to be making decision regarding their pregnancies.

The embryo is a human. Noone is disputing the species, it just happens to be of absolutely no relevance.

An unborn child does not have rights, noone has the 'right' to use a woman's body. It is there as a 'guest' if you will, nobody has the right to be born.

As a medical student, I totally agree with Dr. Poppema. She gives a rational and thoughtful commentary on how this ban will affect patients and physicians. Doctors and patients and families should make these difficult private medical decisions, not legislators and lawyers. Defeat Measure 11!!
