@bobinette657 lol. there's easy, normal, hard and lunatic. The only game I can 1cc on hard is Imperishable Night. and that's like the easiest game out of the touhou series. I can barely pass this and UFO on normal :(

Yeah, I know how the game works, but I'm just too used to let all the buttons go.

Also, it's hard to consistently graze enough so that it's safe on harder difficulties, although if you're good at it, ReimuA is admittably the best character to do a point run with in my opinion.

Why does everyone use ReimuA? I prefer ReimuB over A, although obviously A is better for capturing spellcards, but it's good when starting to learn the patterns on difficult fights like this - the standard damage output isn't THAT much lower, and the bomb can be used to deal LOTS of damage, especially on Lunatic when there are loads of bullts everywhere.

Besides, you can get your power easier up with the auto-loot, but I guess B is sort of a beginner's choice...

@gamezila1987 I don't really see good players using that ability at all. I'd say it's really good only at the beginning of stage 6, where the spirits come and constantly barrage you with aimed shots. You don't have to think about dodging, you can just go in one direction, whereas you need to figure difficult patterns with others. That said, I've done it with ReimuB on Normal, I don't think the Lunatic version differs that much.... Dunno. But again, why don't the better players use that ability?

Koishi's hearts are some of the cutest attacks I've seen from Touhou characters. Most attacks are very pretty, but that flood of hearts was just downright KAWAII! ~(except when they hit you. then it hurts.)

If you look at the card names, and then look at the spellcards... you'll soon see why each are named a certain way.

(Like for instance, release of the Id, the 'animal instincts' of a person being released, then there's the super ego, which is what is suppressing those instinctive thoughts; the danmaku rushes out, then is forced back in)
