SEC is just thriving off Tebow (who is probably the best player in the country no doubt) and florida (who also no doubt will probably be in the title game next year) but overall they are not any better than the rest of the conferences. USC is the best team and was the best team last year period, and the pac 10 won all bowl games they had last year. I think they are the best conference.

What crimson is trying to say is that the reason Texas Tech had a better season is because they play in a weaker conference. It's obvious the SEC is the pinnacle of college football.... You can't even argue that. Every team from the SEC is good relative to the rest of the country.

Ole Miss outplayed & out coached Texas Tech in the Cotton Bowl. In the 2nd half because the pre-existing injuries, 2 key injuries on D in the 1st half, and 2 key DL not allowed to play because of grades. If Tech was like most 10+ win schools, those 2 play & DL depth isn't an issue in the 2nd half.
If Ole Miss plays Tech in Sept, Oct, or Nov, they lose. It is a season, not 1 game.
