  • I'd like to post a video response.

  • Hey I will add a video in bosnian/croatian/serbian (all the same thing) and i'm only 14 years old so i'll probably ramble but still... I hope you like the language.

  • I added my video a couple of days ago but I'll add subtitles to it today. As for the phrase, if you want to greet someone in Arabic, you can say :

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته "As-salaamu alaikum we rahmatu allah w barkatuhu"...

A phrase that means "May God's peace, blessings, and mercy be upon you"

  • are you still interested in this? because I could make you a video in swedish, but I don't know since this video is like three years old so hehe :) anyways, just let me know if you're still want video responses , and I'm make you one :)

  • Oui, je suis fluant en Français.

  • I am fluent in two languages other than English.

  • I don't know another language fluently. You and your "rules." lol You are quite an eccentric person. You really have interesting ways of using youtube that I haven't seen. Anyway it was... somewhat interesting listening to this video and I learned how to tell a woman I want to sleep with them in CanaFrench so... It's all good. XD

  • yeah, if you get 1 it obviously isnt 2...

  • Hey thanks for the comments, I'm glad you enjoyed my videos.

  • some people dont know what fluent really they think being fluent is seaking a few words or simple sentences

  • Yep, a lot of the people who've left comments and even some of the people who posted a video response totally don't understand the word. Taking a few classes doesn't make you fluent.

  • most useful languages of commerce:

    english

    chinese

    german

    spanish

    japanese

    korean

  • why german??

  • and er...and er...and er...and er... &fmt=18

  • ummm i hope to learn japanese..i learn from anime!:P

  • I can speak 5 languages fluently :

    1.Arabic

    2.Hebrew

    3.English(obviously).

    4.German.

  • This is cool, I'm also very interested in learning as many foreign languages as possible, and if I had a camera I would definitely post my response. I speak Hebrew, BTW. I was a little suprised that there was not a single response in Hebrew, but oh well...

  • yes, there was a girl who did Hebrew.

  • I really really wanna reply to this but cant get my camara to work

  • You gave me an idea of making a new video now. Thanks! Great idea btw.

  • I am fluent.. probably not good at writing it down in English or Swedish but I am really really fluent.. I will be rising to your challange although I am only 4 months behind on knowing this video challange existed.. :)I just got to mark where I put this video so I can get back to it..

  • Hi, You made me interested in making a video response for this vid of yours.

I'm going to be doing Navajo. It's a Native American language. Hope you're interested. lol Haha. I am Navajo, so therefore I speak it.

  • Ah, I also know Japanese as well. Though I've studied Navajo and Japanese for long periods of time, I think Navajo would be cooler.

  • As long as you're fluent in it. Some people apparently don't know the meaning of the word, that saddens me.

  • lol

  • Do you know you have a belt on your neck?

  • Yes. It keeps my head from falling off.

  • Guten Tag!Okay I'm not fluent in any language but I'm learning...slowly.

  • I'm struck by a thought when I see this clip. "Those of you who speak another language than english...". Hmm, even by your slightly restrictive definition I estimate that this would include 96-97 % of all people. Given the sieve of having the economic means of recording a youtube clip this percentage would of course shift significantly but it would probably not be less than 80%.

  • Not anyone who speaks another language, anyone who's fluent in another language.

  • Indeed. I understood. 96% - 97% would mean a complement of 3% - 4%. This is my estimate of how many people who're not fluent in any other language than english.

  • @Dissolution241

You don't need to watch the video. Surely someone cares, look at the comments and video responses!

  • Eu che podería gravar un vídeo falando un pouco en galego pero non teño cam para amosarcho! :S Cando merque unha cam con micro respondereiche á túa mensaxe e poderás escoitar galego. Saúdos dende Galicia, España.

I meant!! I could make a video for you speaking in Galician but I don't have a cam to show you! :S As soon as I buy a cam with micro I would respond your message and you will hear Galician. Greetings from Galicia, Spain.

  • Nice idea. Just made my video response in the two languages (beside English) which I'm fluent in.

  • This is SO cool!!!!!!!! YOUTUBE IS LIKE TV FOR "THE PEOPLE'S WORLD!"

  • swedish, german. (not really german, but whatever)

  • I'm tempted to teach you how to say "Here's to you --sucking my dick!" in Spanish, based on the Ford Fairlane poster you have back there. You never know, that phrase may come in handy some day.

  • Clint Eastwood? I fucked 'im! OOHHHH!!

  • I'll post one as soon as I get a webcam! I'm excited about it already!

  • The only language i know a little of is sign language but i am not fluent in any language.

  • boucou denki douw vietnmise 4 vary much crazy

  • That is a good idea Sore wa ii desu

  • I wonder if you'll get someone to speak in French.

  • I guess I'm making you a video in Swedish tomorrow :) Fun idea. Väldigt intressant, måste jag säga.

  • I speak english, german, spanish, korean and some japanease. *none of them fluantly though* cept maybe english lol!

  • Welsh is my first language but I'm not as fluent as I was.

  • great idea :D

  • ickla yma allsba

  • I'll pass, thanks.

  • ourya a oodga portsa

  • Awesome u got some responses now

  • does it count if English isn't your native language? lol

  • Uh, no. Obviously I want you to speak your native language, not English. Did you even watch the video??

  • oh I did. ^_^

  • Nozaka forezum. Younaka a foolzum frz bezing love wtthum zeeba Rodger. Ifzem marry zed jerk ifzem bein dec a jerkbride. Zem bien.

  • I was never in love with Roger.

  • what you staring at? i aint a mirrior!

  • I speak and write French and English, and can speak semi-fluent Spanish.

  • "Suck-kah-la-mench-kee" In Boheimian means "Son of a Bitch". (spelling not accurate, but that's how you say it) I used to say it in school a lot when I felt like swearing but didn't want the teacher to know what I was saying.

  • My grandparents were fluent in boheimian, I learned it from over hearing them and my dad taught me some.

  • You've totally gotta make a video saying that so I know the right way to say it.

  • haha, I can probably do that, it won't be for a few days though. I can only get online at work and I have the next couple days off.

  • Well someone's gotta, it's been two days and all I've gotten is "Great idea!" lol.

  • I'm fluent in ASL, but I don't appear on camera. Maybe some other time in the future...

  • I don't need a face in the camera, just a voice.

  • ASL is sign language! XD

  • Ha! No kidding. Well, a voice is pointless for that, isn't it? Hands, then. :P

  • I'll think about it. I do have a good sign language story I could also tell, but that'd probably need to be in English. I could put it over in the comments, though... I'll get to it eventually.

  • Thank you for explaining this key fact. :-)

  • ew.

  • I typed this into Google Language Tools and selected English to Spanish conversion: "see back of this receipt for important claim information" and the result was: "ver detrás de este recibo para la información importante de la demanda". I think I will stay with Google as my interperter.

  • from observation it looks like recibo means receipt, informacion means information, and imortante means important, and demanda might mean demand

  • "Recibo" means "I received".

  • ...Pardon me. "I receive". Present tense. Tired. Ughhh.

  • Haha, that translates back to "to see behind this receipt for the important information of the demand"

  • I've done some more thinking about this, maby people should know a few Spanish words. I wonder if anyone made a minimal subset of words that should be known or carry on a card?

  • "I am wearing your pants and your sister is on fire" in spanish is " Estoy usando tus pantalones y tu hermana esta encendida en fuego" lol *Just in case you wanted to learn it....lol Love Ya Heather!

  • lol That's awesome. "Fuego" is an awesome word.

  • I'm half-fluent in the German lol.

My grandad is fluent in it, I will see if he will speak for you, but I doubt it. I'll try though =D

  • Haha! That'd be awesome to get a video from someone's grandfather!

  • I called him after I left a comment and he says:

Nein bin ich zu alt!! Eine Shande. Helfe ich dir?

IDK if I spelled any of that right I'm bad at the spellings haha. But he pretty much said no he is to old, what a shame, and that he will help me make one. But I won't =P I should have recorded him on the phone *cackles*

  • lol No one's too old if they're still able to speak. Age only matters if you're cheese.

  • Agreed. I will tell him that he is not cheese, he is humannnn *throws fist in the air*
