Ok so it is savvy. If you're going to drive, drive well, but biking and public transit don't suck like this commercial makes them out to. They should show the bmw stuck in stop and go traffic with a driver who's overweight b/c he hasn't used in feet in years.
The idea of this commercial is neat, but the imagery doesn't quite match up. Apparently our likable BMW employee is driving to an office in Munich, but unless he's driving through Burma or the US to get there, I would assume that the gas price would be per liter, not gallon.
So if that sign is quoting the per-liter price, that means that Germans are paying the equivalent of $51/gal for gas! I could be wrong, but I think that's about 3.8 times more than it actually costs ;-)

I think Gas is $8 a gallon in Germany, but I don't know as I don't have a car.
