The Thompson isn't a military version its a prohibition era replica wwII versions have stick mags and no foregrip

No. The 1928 model shown in the video is based off the military version, seeing as how the bolt is located on the side of the reciever which is not the case for the prohibition era.

just to let you know. the gun you have is a more prohibition style gun. (tommy gun) the military version has a smaller barrel and stick mags. although yes they did use drum mags, the army style thompsons had standard foreguard and no grip. very very nice collection!

No. The Thompson I have is the military version of the 1928 model, as shown by the bolt on the side of the replica as opposed to being on the top. Although, the standard M1A1 is more widely known, the 1928 was also used.

Do you have a Vietnam load-out? If not it , may I suggest starting one using the m14. And because you have an m4 u can swap the primaries for the same load-out, although the m4 isn't correct for the era it will still pass I'm sure.

What about the Famas? Was it just a review piece that you had to send back or is it just not in the video? Oh and ive seen a drum mag on WE luger at a field in Fort Worth, Texas and seemed to work very well although I did not fire it. However, because of the bulk of the gun it looked kinda awkward to use when he was using it as a primary in cqb, but he did have then longest barrel version too.

I definatly like the drum mag for the luger. ya it seems a little pricey but its worth it, alot better than running out of ammo and gas at the same time and taking 5 minutes to reload and refill it again... but the only problem is tht the instructions are in japenese so i havent really used the drum mag to its full potential yet lol.
