hey mike, i've seen alot of yer videos and i've seen ya using a lot of nice equipment.i have an RCI 2970DX-150 in my 2007 Explorer..she does a good 50 - 60w on am( haven't really tested it on USB or LSB but it should do about 150w on ssb.my question is what's the difference between mine and the 2970n2? i'd like to know for comparison. thanks fer your time. 73s...

my 2970DX-150 modulates 190w with a 50 watt deadkey I would love to have that heat sink even when my readio does not get hot at all!!!

Hey Mike,  How did you mount that thing to your dash. I can't see any screws, Did you drill holes in your dash, or did you do something else?

That has a100 watt kicker built in it doesn't it ? I had a rci 29?? . Wish I still had it . Was a great radio. Ran a 350 watt kicker with it.

that radio blows smoke with a d104. but be carful on the watts out cuz they get hot!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey brother, I am buying one of these in the next few days, could you tell me what mods you have to get 275 out of the radio? The cb shop told me they could only get around 200 out of the radio. How are you getting 275? Also, any overheating problems??
