Mt. Apo River Trek

hi. im planning on going/ climbing mt apo. any advice on footwear. should i wear shoes or i should bring both slippers and shoes?

Actually I Only a Surplus Shoes that time. The best foot wear to use if something that is light and durable... Don't wear too heavy shoes, footwear that easily slips when encountered mud.. If you are expert in the balancing and gripping your foot wear, sandals are way better than shoes...
