@Ginounknown yes . the radeon hd 5670 is alraedy 6.9. The maximum for window score is somewhere around 7.5 or 7.4. I don't remember. So the gtx 550 ti should be somewhere around there or be max.

@MrJhangir well- mmmh i would realy realy recommend to buy an 850 watt from corsair. its only about 90 euros, so in dollars it should be the same if not less and is 80* certified.. a 500 watt psu could maybe support it but i woudnt recommend it for a good gaming system. this way you can be sure to have a good PSU and and you can alwayss upgrade other parts without needing another expensive PSU.i would realy recommend getting a 750-850 PSU for a good gaming system if you dont want bottlenecks :)

Still doesn't make sense... why do you have a VGA cable pluged in that monitor in the first place? even your "retro" 8600GTS used DVI so IMO you probably shouldn't have that vga cable (well maybe somewhere in ur basement for emergencies... dealing with old monitors ;)
