It is my strong opinion after spending a week with Pastor Shawn McBride at Hume Lake with over 500 high school students that every young person must hear him speak...Every student expressed after the retreat that the things Pastor McBride said changed their lives. Several weeks later, we are still benefiting from the impact of the Truth he conveyed to our students.
I want to tell you how much I apreciate you letting GOD use you during my High School Retreat. I truly believe it was the best thing that has happen to my school. I have been praying since ninth grade for something amazing like that to happen at my High School Retreat. I am happy that GOD answered my prayer. Thank You so much and continue to let GOD use you.

The kids from our church have been going up there every winter for years and they all agree that you were by far the most powerful and effective speaker that they've heard. You have inspired me to get in a relationship with God, and to TAKE MY STAND! Take my stand when my "friends" offer me drugs, to take my stand when they cuss, take my stand, and let my light shine, and preserve myself! A lot of preachers have preached to me, and I will definitely have to say you're my favorite, you keep me excited and curious, and I loved all of your visual messages too.

Pastor Shawn McBride is a dynamic teacher and preacher! He has been a guest speaker at our youth bible study, as well as our youth Sunday service...he captivated the entire congregation with with great energy and creativity, his love for God, and his knowledge of the Word. He has a unique way of speaking right to the hearts of the youth with props and making biblical truths applicable to real life issues.
Pastor Shawn, no fewer than 9 students mentioned you or your messages in writing about what they like best about the retreat. Aside from paintball, you may have grabbed the most attention! I know they heard you! Thanks again for sharing with us. Keep serving the Lord!
