i got to go!! i met a little 1 year old filly that i'm going to train and show she is so cute!! but we have a long way to go. i need to make a video of her and my friends mini she is going to work with. if u ever have any tips for me i would really love to hear them :)
@vballcassy02 I love yearling fillies!! They always seem to have a mind of their own a lot of the time though but that's any mare really hahaha. What do the fillies you and your friend will be showing look like? And what kind of tips?? Training or at the actual show? I can give you both too if you want hahah

@vballcassy02 hmm well when you're in the show ring, try not to fuss with her a lot. especially when the judge is there..even if she moves..try to fix her once and if she doesn't, just keep showing her and fix her after the judge leaves or whenever they aren't looking. and watch the judge. start actually showing her once the judge is a horse or two away..like stretching her neck, getting ears, that sort of thing. and don't stand so far away where she wants to walk to you, but not on top of her
@vballcassy02 uhmm I think that's mainly it. Are you just doing halter with her? Oh and by showing her the whole time, like when the judge isn't looking, she's going to get really tired of it and not want to do it. And obviously in training, be patient hahaha..kind of a no brainer but yeah. I knew this one girl who was training the trainers baby and she was super impatient and was always chucking on him and now he's really skittish and runs to the back of his stall when you try to pet him..sad

@vballcassy02 Oh yeah..typical babies hahaha. She'll get better with the standing the more you work with her it just takes a bunch of time and patience haha. Sorry I haven't been able to reply in a while. I moved a quarter horse (the sorrel Im riding in all my videos) to my house for the summer last week and I was on vacation and what not. But Im super excited about Amber, the quarter horse, cause shes my best friend and my neighbor and I are going to go ride on the riverbed by my house a lot.
@Bravby126 this summer so really soon. i just got out yesterday. i mite go over there today if i can!!! if i do ill see if i can bring my camera! I'm so excited :D

You said you'd be showing with TnT ranch, right? That sounds soo familiar..what state is it in?
well we are not sure but where do u show? we are going to work with the mini's at a ranch could TnT mini horse ranch i had my b-day there when i was little who new i would be going back to train and show them :)
a little of both we are going to this 1 barn and going to train some of the mini's there but me and my friend mite buy 1 off are own :) it looks really fun :) me and my friend are going over to the barn this week end to meet the oner and the mini's :)
@vballcassy02 I really love it! i've been showing minis since I was six. i'm 16 now, and i still havent gotten tired of it. It's a lot of fun teaching your horses to do all the different things because there really is so much to do..are you looking to buy into horses or would you be finding a trainer to show with? either way, it's a really great experience and super fun

@vballcassy02 i show in norco, CA with the pacific coast miniature horse club who hosted the are 7 show last year and who is hosting it this year.
That's fun!! haaha I had a pony party once too!!! hahaha i felt like the most special kid in the world
