god, this band just seems like it's missing one single, but crucial ingredient. It's like, they write really good songs, but they come up tragically short, just barely short. With one tweak, they could have put it all together, all the best stuff of punk and alt rock and pop, but they juuuust missed.

I'm lucky that I did get to grow up on this shit. I remember when this record came out, Here's Where the Strings Come in..The great thing about that record was/is is that it opened w/ this song which I think is one odf Superchunk's best songs that they ever wrote.
