I'm a pretty big DT fan, but i have to say, WTF is Black Clouds & Silver Linings doing on this list? One of the year's biggest letdowns imo.

Also, Nile's Those Whom The God's Detest would deserve a spot somewhere...

most of my favorite albums from 2009 were thrash. not talentless Slayer or that asshole Dave Mustaine's band Megadeth, but new thrash like Blood Tsunami, Bonded by Blood, Municipal Waste, Lazarus A.D., HeXeN, Gama Bomb, Evile, and Warbringer.

World Painted Blood is amazing, Endgame was awesome, Black Gives Way to Blue was an amazing comeback for AIC, Visions is an awesome album by the best portuguese band from my country Ramp and Evisceration Plague is one of the best albums of 2009

no it isnt, its an awesome one, Cannibal Corpse never had a bad album and its really hard to say which one is not as good as the others, but for me, the one that interested me less than the others is Gore Obsessed, but that album has their best song there "When Death Replaces Life", still Evisceration Plague is amazing

No Hypocrisy!!? I can't list my favorites in any order or so except that Hypocrisys is number one but well, here are the 15 bands who made my favorites of this year. Hypocrisy, Samael, Immortal, Dark Funeral, Alice in Chains, Vomitory, Megadeth, Behemoth, Anaal Nathrak, God Dethroned, DevilDriver, Nile, Belphegor, Nightrage and Katatonia. Great year. I still think Crack the Skye is one of the most overrated albums I've ever heard. Btw, havn't heard Insomniums yet, so I better check it out soon.
